I feeled from your walk that you are curious about Akihabara and trying new things. It's great that you are going to places not many foreighers visit. Welcome back to Tokyo!

Last time I was in Japan I did exactly what you did. Tokyo, Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto, Izu (shizuoka) and back in Tokyo (Hotel in Akihabara). I'm originally from Shizuoka so I had to stop in Shizuoka but other than that, my itinerary was pretty much same as yours. I even went to the same book off in Akihabara! Your Japan videos make me miss Japan so much! I need to go back soon.

”hyuga natsu highball”=日向夏ハイボール. Hyuganatsu is a citrus fruit of the genus Citrus in the family Rutaceae, a perennial evergreen shrub. Its place of origin is Miyazaki Prefecture. "Virtual KZbinr", often abbreviated as VTuber, are content creators who use 2D or 3D computer-generated characters to produce and stream videos, primarily on the internet.

I recommend that you go to explore Sapporo(Miso Ramen, fresh seafood), Morioka(Soba noodles, beautiful harmony of nature and buildings), Kanazawa(seafood, historical streetscape), Fukuoka(rich food culture), Kagoshima(hotspring, sandbath, volcano). True value of Japan lies in regional cities. from one Japanese man

Kagoshima is easily my favourite place to visit. Nothing like sitting at the footbaths on Sakurajima and looking at the awesome city, especially if it's cold. Sadly, Kagoshima is so far out of the way that most tourists don't even consider it, but it's definitely worth the time getting there

Tsukada Nojo is one of my favorite chains in Japan. They get all their products from Tsukada Farm; so their food is fresh and great quality. Which also means you probably paid a little more than your typical izakaya (still cheap cause of the rate). You dipped the chicken in Yuzu-Kosho which is a citrus pepper sauce; not wasabi. Another great video Zane!

Akihabara is only a shadow of the craziness it used to enjoy in the 80s and 90s. The wind in Tokyo is nuts, and example of why high rise and straight streets are not a great idea. I suspect they had to ban smoking because of the cinders blowing away.

The sauce that you referred at 10:42 may be Yuzu Kosho, which is translated to be Yuzu Pepper. Probably not Wasabi. The fried fish that you referred as Shishito at 11:56 is actually not Shishito. It is Shishamo smelt, a kind of smelt fish. It seems you figured that out. At 12:22, you mentioned Hyuga Natsu. It is a kind of Japanese citrus: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyuganatsu

While watching the video 🎦 I'm also drinking alcohol with you 🍻 Being exposed to different food cultures is a valuable experience, I like American food culture🍟🍔🍕 🥒's miso sauce is a popular Japanese drink accompaniment. The choice of charcoal-grilled chicken is also very Japanese! 🔥🍗 Akihabara is a wonderful place! Anime, games 🎮 The experience of actually touching the medium is irreplaceable. But digging the media in Akihabara would be too much of a waste of time. . 😂 This is also proof of the greatness of Amazon's service 📦
