My dryer is flashing red 3 times on the play/pause button, any suggestions on how to fix this?

Not really familiar with Zanussi Dryers unfortunately. Usually there is a certain amount of red flashes followed by a certain amount of green flashes. Are you getting any green after the red ? This will give you an error code as to what the problem is.

No just 3 red flashes, tried all the tips but doesn't seem to be working, thanks for your reply appreciated 👍🏻

@@tanyagannon8708 I was doing a bit of googling. Some people are suggesting it may be that the childlock is on. Have you tried to deactivate the childlock ?

If you plug out the Machine, Take the top cover off and reach town to the door lock, pushhin the lock down where it springs at the side, have someone open the pull the door while you do this. If no joy doing this you could try open it with a string. You slide the string around the door where the lock is and try wriggle it open. Unfortunately the last option is prising the door open with a screw driver. You risk damaging the door or door lock in the instant.

My door won't open play light flashes and won't start cycle either. I've opened it by removing top like you say several times but sometimes won't open this way either. What would be the cause of this? Would replacing the door locking mechanism or is it circuit wiring related? Thank you

@@damiandelaney5909 is does sound like the Door lock is the issue. If you put the machine into test mode what error if any do you get please ?

Is the orange light above the padlock staying on even after trying it ?
