Same here, l'm 38 now and found this gem of a game years ago as a demo in a game magazine. I was living some of my darkest years back then, but this game was like a little place to visit and rest. I kinda miss the ability to immerse myself into a game as l used to with Zanzarah, but the older you get, the less you dream, unfortunately.

I first played it on 2000 or 2001. It just became an instant favorite. Time passed and played everything from COD to Nfs to Crysis. But i still have a fixation for this underrated gem. The music, the world, the fairies..everything is as enchanting as the game world within. I still have it. High five for all Zanazarah lovers🤗

I'm playing this now. I remember playing this as a kid back in 2003. Glad I found it on Steam on sale! At first, I was having issues with the mouse control in the game. But then, I saw a thread on the patches available to fix the issues and it worked! Now I spend most of my day on this, side-by-side with your video as my guide. I think it's alright 'coz Segbuzz was later on returned to Amy. It is a unique fairy. While Suane can be evolved from Lighane and Driane which are easy to find and capture. :)

i remember playing the demo over and over because my cd broke and i couldnt find a new one. I have it on steam now so it works perfectly (with a few tweaks). I think more people would give it a chance if it got a remaster with all the quirks ironed out. Sucks that it gets negative reviews because of its poor optimization. Everyone I know that plays this game from start to finish loves it and I think it's because the game mechanics age very well. Games of the era have very old game design but this game should feel very familiar to anyone that plays action adventure games and RPGs.

Why are you always giving the "golden carrot" to fairies that are just before to level up? That's a wasted golden carrot. You are supposed to give them to fairies immediately after they level up.

the first time I got it was from Big Lots store in the children's clearance section and gave it to my older daughter, ended up playing it myself a few times, never when it had live servers for multiplayer. I got it now through steam but I have to get the mouse bug fixed.

Ive played for years and the most annoying part is trying to figure out what determines if a fairie hits lvl 60 or not. In the past i thought each fairie had a set maximum but my sister also plays and ive gotten max 60s of fairies she cannot and vice versa. Wonder how that is determined...

Hi of course! Lucius at The Cottage (fast travel location) will trade pixies for items. Every 5 pixies can be traded. 5 pixies: 30 coins 10 pixies: Key of the Pixie Guardian (access to the house basement) 15 pixies: 50 coins 20 pixies: 5x Mana Potion 25 pixies: 5x Garlic Atomizer 30 pixies: A fairy the player has not yet collected or 20 Golden Carrots
