Why not just run a straight piece from one box to the other😂😂😂😂

Sure, but in the field your not always going to be able to do that. Unless that's the only skill you have. Good luck.

@user..alphabet You're probably one of the ones that wouldn't explain how .25 of the circumference gives us a take-up of 5" huh. We're waiting for it and see how many days this will take you

@@manok1117 your probably one of the individuals whom didn't pay attention to the definition of 'Take-Up'. They are predetermined measurements from the manufacturer. It's the amount of conduit used to form the bend. If you measure your length & height of the pipe after the bend it will equal the Developed Length. The 'Developed Length', is Length + Height - Gain. Gain is the distance saved by the arc of a 90 degree bend. So if I'm understanding you correctly. You are trying to say '.25 of the circumference' which is 90 degrees. With a take up of 5". So a 'Take-Up' of 5" has to be a 1/2" EMT pipe (per p.169 UGLY'S). If you were to make a 90 degree bend on 1/2" EMT you will be loosing 5" of your EMT to make a 90 degree bend. Thus the 'Take-Up'. Something to consider when measuring and cutting pipe. I'll be awaiting your reply.
