It's not a new idea or revelation. That's what this country was founded on and calm, level headed people have been fighting against a theocracy since two weeks after the constitution was ratified. Not against religion, but a government run by a religion. And against a religion of any sort being run by the government. People just don't understand that anymore. And the conservatives have long known that we will forget and that they will seize power in the name of God.

I met Frank Zappa in 1969. Our art teacher told us that we would get extra credit for going to a lecture at the University of Tennessee ,and listening to speaker Frank Zappa. Afterwards, While walking down the street to meet up with our Dad (my brother went too),we saw Frank Zappa sitting on a marble bench waiting for his ride.We said "Hello ," He said hello ,nice weather you have here" We said "Yes, it is" His car drove up ,he got in ,it drove off. We went around the corner to where our Dad was waiting for us in our car. We said ," Daddy, we just met Frank Zappa!!" He said ,"That's nice" and we went home. Of course Daddy had no idea who Frank Zappa really was OR that we had just spent an hour in a standing room only auditorium hearing words that our parents wouldn't have approved of , some of which they probably hadn't ever heard. But we had good parents who believed in extra credit and were all for us doing what our teacher suggested. Mr, C was our favorite teacher..he even came to out 50 th year class reunion.RIP Frank Zappa you spoke words of wisdom.
