When you think about it, Blaze and his friends are actually even more skilled than the other AC protagonists if they stick with F-14s all the way throughout the entire war. F-14, while a good plane itself, was quite obsolete by the time AC5 took place. Other aces have used more high-tier planes like F-15s, F-22s, or the Sukhoi series, yet the Razgriz Squadron brave through everything in their outdated F-14s. Now THAT is the definition of awesome. Also, by no means insulting F-14s here. The plane is awesome. Wish other AC games would have picked a different 'canon' plane for its protagonists as well. Kind of getting sick of seeing F-22 on the cover all the time lol.
@MisterTorgueHighFiveFlexington5 жыл бұрын
Kinda did this little thing in AC7. For the last mission, I acted like if the Admiral Anderson was carrying Blaze's F-14. Trigger's F-22 can't take off from a carrier. But the scrap queen luckily finds the F-14 and restores it. Trigger then uses the F-14 to down the adf-11's. Kind of a wasted opportunity if you ask me.

Exole001 I do have a tiny problem with the name. Kestral 2 is odd because the naming system for warships doesn't usually add numbers. There have been 4 USS Lexinton ships and they all have that same name. I'd figure the new Kestral would just be the Kestral. they will have something like CV047 or something but they dident relate to the name really.
@exole00147 жыл бұрын
The Architect Yeah I totally agree with you. Examples like USS Enterprise, Hornet and etc. Wish they did incorporate more towards the naming of Warships than slapping on a "2" on it like the real world. But it's Strangereal Lol. Controversial take. This was the best Ace Combat game. 4 will have a special place in my heart as my first game but 5 made me cry.

What I never understood is how it was never confirmed that the Demons of Razgriz actually were Wardog Squadron. Like... wasn't Genette with them literally the whole time? often filming? I guess you could say his recordings went down the the Kestrel but he himself survived, why didn't he write about it? My little fan theory is that the whole game(cutscene wise) is being told from a 3rd person, by Genette(Generation Kill style), some time after 2020 when the origins of the Razgriz squadron were declassified. Confirming to the world that yes, it was the Sand Island squadron that saved them.

Genette had saved the records before the Kestral sank, but due to the Circumstances of the war, as well as how publishing the Records would result in the Identities of Razgriz, as well as their allies being exposed (which would put them all in danger), he had to keep the Records classified. Ace Combat 7 actually had Genette publish the records of the Circum-Pacific War about a month after Harling's Death at the time Harling had wanted to reveal the truth, exposing the truth of the Circum-Pacific War. You see that in AC7's Epilogue, on a Magazine. Matter of fact, Harling was killed in AC7 because Erusea and Osea did not want the Maniscripts of the Circum-Pacific war to be made public (due to how easily the Grey Men had infiltrated both sides), and had hoped Harling's death would prevent it, not realizing Harling had planned ahead and told Genette to declassify the Records of the War at the planned date anyway.

Yeah... Seeing this scene again #alonetogether in time of corona pandemic, really gives me chills and deep respect to all the people like health workers/doctor/courier/transportation worker/food service industry and everyone that come together fighting the pandemic. Whilst sometimes sacrificing their own health and safety for the people of the world.. i thank you all and #staysafe everyone

This game suddenly popped in to my head again, thanks for the upload! Though in my head canon I think that Nagase ended up with Blaze and that’s their daughter.

Nagasei: "All that's left of their hatred is this thing in front of us." Drones in AC7: "B R U H" One of the few things I dislike about AC 7 is how it did AC 5 so dirty.

Yo, I've watched this twice, I've played this level a dozen times, and I still have to say, fucking NICE how you pulled into the tunnel from that angle. Cinematic af. Well played, and thank you so much for putting this gem of a game up on KZbin -- twice! I'm watching your more recent videos too. Bit of advice. You will accrue views over time with this sort of thing. Play up the drama, make things look good and entertaining. Let things play out for dramatic effect. Make a video out of that. Have ANOTHER video where you show off your 1337 gaming skills and pwn thing easily and make it look easy for bragging rights. Personally, I go looking for videos that make things look dramatic and awesome separately from wanting to watch someone kick ass with their top-tier skills. You got two videos attracting two different audiences, then profit!
