Thanks for your reactions. Here you have some information about Dimash. Dimash started training when he was 5 and he is now turning 26 in may. He also did fightsport but now swimming sport for his lungs. Dimash speaks both Kazakh and Russian but he is learning English and Madarin. (China) Dimash can sing in 12 languages and plays at least 8 instruments. He sings in different genres like: pop, opera, popera, folk, world, rock and rap. He can dance and is a song writer. His highest whistle note is a D8. He has great stage presence, mice control, breath control, can sing with emotion and can be a story teller. Has a lot of songs whitch are different with a suprise in it. The sound you did not hear is from Eastern country's. Both his parents are famous singers and his sister can also sing. He is a really nice guy that cares for other people and always shows love and respect to the people. He has humour and is like a lot of people in the East religious. And last, he is for a singer not to bad with a football.

The yodel thing is basically an Arabic type sound and heard it is called bleating but essentially it is cultural since Dimash loves his country so much that he tries to put as much of it into his music where he can and the original version of this song did not have that in it or the whole operatic piece that he did. Dimash loves adding these beautiful pieces into the covers not to make it better but to communicate who is and where he is from and also to live up to the standard of the original artist. He said something to this effect for the song Daybreak, and you can find that on Gloria Wu's Channel. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4mqd2qsnKqMgc0

Hello from a dear in Australia and I have been following Dimash for about the same space of time. He has a new video under his name where the singer is wearing a white jacket with little black markings on. It shows more of the movie the song ACROSS ETERNAL DIMENSIONS was made for. In a video that shows the music writers for the movie a blond woman googled who has the most beautiful voice in the world to sing it and his name came up. I never tire of that song. I also like Gao Tianhe from Super Vocal. He has a similar range to his voice in a YT video titled SHE IS MY SIN from the contest SUPER VOCAL 2019. The show has many good male singers in, 3 actually sang with Dimash in the Queen medley. If you have not heard of SUPER VOCAL on YT check out episode 2 where they audition. I like the songs SOUND OF SILENCE, NEVER ENOUGH, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT. Some of the episodes of the show are with English subs. You take care now.

He started at age 5 with his musical training. Both his parents are professional singers who realized very "very" early he has perfect pitch and his grandparents stated a couple of times that it was impossible get him away from various instruments and music in general even as a little boy and fortunately they did everything to support his passion for music. Dimash is also a multi-instrumentalists, songwriter/composer, he’s about to receive his Masters in composition this month and then begin his doctorate. He’s great at soccer, swimming & martial arts, ect ect. He’s extremely intelligent and has always been self driven & motivated. Dimash has worked extremely hard and put in more hours than most can fathom and he continues to train everyday for hours even when on tour. For Dimash it’s not about ego or how many octaves he can sing, he says it’s about becoming his very best doing his very best to convey the music he sings to his audience in the most beautiful way he can & he does that better than anyone in the world in my opinion. Dimash is very humble & kind and loves his family tremendously and says he considers his fans part of his family, hence why he calls us Dears. Personally I’ve just found it impossible not to fall completely in love with Dimash and his family & his majestic country Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 Greetings & much love from the USA. #dimash #dear #dearforlife

Dimash’s mom is an opera singer and his dad is an artist as well so he deff got an early start! He initially only trained to do opera like his mom but eventually felt it was limited with how straight forward it is. Now, he’s paving his own sound and is free to incorporate his endless amount of influences and genres wrapped into one.! My next suggestion to show a different side would be “all by myself” from a show called “The Singer” since I’m sure it’s a song you already know.

Dimash originally called his style "neoclassical" but starting in 2018 he has tries to include elements of Kazakh culture as well, like the tribal riff in this performance. This song is great example of what he does with a cover because there is very little in the original performance that would hint at what Dimash did with it. (You can look up "Sinful Passion A Studio" to hear the original). Dimash has a close friend, Erlan Bekchurin, who frequently collaborates with him on arrangements like they did with this number. They are breaking ground with an approach to popular songs that I think is unique and special, but that is very difficult for anyone else to imitate.

The label neoclassical was coined in the 80’s for virtuoso guitarist Yngwie Malmsteens metal classical playing style. Popera sounds fitting for Dimash. Actually, his style is more Songs from an angel. I’ve never heard anyone do what Dimash can do with his voice.

Thank you for your reaction! I will say, you still haven't seen all that he can do. I went to his solo concert at Barclay's Center in NY, in December last year. Hearing him live can only be described as ethereal. I am now hooked on seeing him live, wherever I need, and want to go. I had planned on going to his concert in Dusseldorf this March, and then on to Prague from there, but alas the pandemic stopped those plans. My plans are now to attend the next concert, when announced, in Kazakhstan. I plan on staying a few days to see more of his country, and learn more about his culture. I am now trying to learn to speak Kazakh before I visit his country. Dimash sings in twelve languages, and speaks three fluently. He speaks Kazakh (his native language), Russian, and English. His English can be "broken" sometimes, and he does have an accent, but he is fluent and continues to learn. He can also speak some very limited Mandarin, but is also continuing to learn. He is a polyglot! Dimash does have a six octave range with several more semi-tones. When he is asked how many octaves he sings, he replies (paraphrased), I don't know, it doesn't matter. It is the song that matters, not the octaves. Kanat, Dimash's dad, says the technique he uses in this song, is the folk style of the Yakut people. The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is part of the Russian Republic, and is located in the far northeastern side. Stay safe and healthy! Blessings to you!

Hi There,I saw Dimash in December at the Barclay center in N.Y, Dimash is even better live,he is so kind, loving and funny.Dimash is Very spiritual, he is the kind of young man that believes in One Man ,one Woman together forever. Dimash is very emotional and he does feel everything that he sings. I don't know why this is,but I feel so distraught when I see people make comments that he knows how to act and put on the charm.I feel that when people say this, they don't seriously believe this is acting OMG I figured I would never have any time left if I wrote a message in response too every person that says these things, so I try not to allow myself too be drawn into that.Dimash is very close to his Mom and Dad,He loves his grandparents so much, and he loves his sister and younger brother. Dimashs family usually is at every concert, also Dimash is loved deeply by all of us from all around the world, and I can say that Dimash truly loves all people of every nationality, age, male and female. When Dimashs family are at the concerts, he will usually introduce his family and he takes as long as needed making sure that he introduces all of the people who sing, dance, all of the members of his band,I really feel saying this the way that I just did isn't correct because they are like his family members, all of them are seen as equal, and family of Dimashs extraordinary ability too love and be selfless, he loves Michael Jackson and in many ways you can see how he looked up too Michael Jackson, and Dimash has Written a song and it is absolutely a tribute of Dimashs love and respect for Michael. When you are at a concert too see Dimash, there are people of every race, every age from children, teenagers, young adults, senior citizens, and there can be one hundred thousand people who are all together in one place for one reason--Dimash-- also there are as many men asthere woman

Nice reaction and welcome to Dimashstan. I had the privilege to hear him sing Sinful Passion at his Moscow Kremlin concert 2019. Moment of shear bliss! The Kremlin state hall, where he performed Your Love btw, have 6000 seats and perfect sound. But he is so worth experience live even if the sound is not the best. I was at his first european soloconcert in London nov 2018 as well and St Petersburg nov 2019. It is very addictive. Never traveled abroad for any other artist before! Dears are a friendly bunch of fans. Dimash is extremly humble and polite yet very professional and knows exactly what he wants to achieve musically. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪.

Hi Zara, again loved your reaction!! Dimash just enrich music in so many ways, even for vocal coaches 😁😉 Yes, SOS is for most people the song to start with. Ogni Pietra is mind blowing too (won an award last year in Russia for best song in genre Opera), as well as Know, the love of the tired Swans, Screaming (Idol hits, where he performed as a guest with this pop song and he even rapped in it!) and I always get tears in my eyes of Daybreak in Bastau concert). You will be in shook watching him sing the Diva Dance at the Bastau concert and he had sooo many other beautifull songs. And really, every song has something special, something different. So, take your time and keep reacting on Dimash. And of course you want to react to other singers as well, but make us happy and jump on this Dimash train and you will not regret it!! I had tickets for his concert in Düsseldorf (Germany), but it is replaced to next year because of Corona.. Of course I understand, health and safety first! Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

That sound was him,its a sound than can be heard often in asian music although admittedly i've never heard anyone doing it quite so fast. I believe he's moving between 2 registers really quickly.it does sound a bit like yodelling. Most people became aware of Dimash when his performances on a show in china called 'i am singer' went viral. His opening performance, which completely had me sat with my mouth open, was of S.O.S & was followed the next week with 'Opera 2'. A few weeks later they had to perform 2 songs joined together in some way so dimash sang 'contessa' & 'the diva dance' ( from the 5th element). There are video's of him performing all these songs at various venue's but if you watch the versions from 'i am a singer' you will get more of a feel of his journey. I wouldn't bother wearing any socks because these performances will just blow them off!!! BTW in those 3 examples I have given he sings in french, russian & italian

Dimash performed a special concert in London for the Kazak Ministry of Culture in November of 2018. It was at the Indigo at the O2. This is a very small and intimate venue adjacent to the much larger O2 arena. It only holds a few thousand people. I had standing tickets and was literally 3 meters from the foot of center stage. Dimash still wasn't that well known in the West back then and I suppose he couldn't book a larger venue. I only paid 60 euros for my ticket! I live in central France and had to take the Eurostar to London and book a hotel but I had no doubt it'd be worth it. I wasn't disappointed. Fortunately, I discovered Dimash back in 2017 on the Singer competition in China. When I saw this concert appear online I bought the tickets immediately. There were still unsold tickets the day before the concert if you can believe it! I'm blessed to have seen him up close in such a small space. He's way too popular now. At the risk of sounding crass, I'll just say it was like having an oratory orgasm.

Not to say he couldn't book.....but that was not his own solo concert.......all proceeds from that show went towards funding young children's development in arts and music......most he got probably was free board, lodging and plane tickets...that's all.

Dimash is a singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist. He plays piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, dombra, marimba, bayan and ukulele. He is fluent in Kazakh and Russian and is currently learning English and Mandarin. So far he has sung in Kazakh, Russian, English, Mandarin, French, Turkish, Ukrainian, Serbian, Italian, Kyrgyz, German and Spanish. He combines multiple genres of music such as; opera, pop, popera, classical, contemporary, folk, jazz, rock and rapping. His vocal range, so far, is F2 to a sustained D8 with vibrato. He is sweet and humble, loves his family and fans, and is proud of his country and heritage. Music is in his soul, he was born to be a singer.

Kazakhstan is pretty much bilingual - Kazakh and Russian. Before the Soviet Union broke apart, Kazakhstan was a 'soviet republic' in the USSR. Dimash is fluent in both languages. Russian is easy for him. 'Sinful Passion' is one of my favorites. I think the only songs from Dimash I like as much are 'Love Is Like a Dream,' 'Ogni Pietra,' 'Passione,' 'Adago,' 'Love of Tired Swans,' 'All By Myself,' 'Hello,' 'Autumn Strong,' the Gakku performance of 'Unforgettable Day' (where he goes beyond whistle voice and gives us something unique, a D8), and... oops, my fanboi socks are showing. (Tugs down pants legs) Turns out I like a lot of his performances, heh. Before you listen to Dimash singing 'SOS,' I recommend you listen to what came before Dimash got to the song. Here is Daniel Balavoine presenting it many years earlier. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5y9pneeqrmerqc Pretty song, yes? Now for Dimash. This is the version of 'SOS' that I recommend for a reaction video (the others may be more likely to produce copyright strikes): kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWOcq3irj7uUrtU But I will also recommend that you enjoy to the 2017 'I Am a Singer' version, as that was his first song to go viral on the internet. It marks the demarcation point between Dimash the regional star and Dimash the world-wide sensation. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHbdYqR9iJWHZ7M Every time he sings it, it's different. I don't think he's much into lip synching over a studio track. One last thing. The Australian singer/songwriter/musician Caleb Coles produced an English version of the song that I like. You won't regret hearing this version, either. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gn-ThnukgsuAgJI Enjoy!

Yes he sings in lots of different languages, he is a multi instrumentalist, His idols growing up were Michael Jackson and Lara Fabian, He gets to sing with Lara eventually and you can see it is a special moment for him, On a side not Lara wrote the lyrics for the son "my love" for him and Igor Kutoy who often is with him on the piano wrote the music. Dimash actually calls it a classical crossover genre bc of the combination of genres he injects in his singing. Then he mixes cultural music traditions and elements for added value in enhancing the performance. He is a master of his craft. As for how he finds time, he chose music as his career path since babyhood. There is a sweet story his nan tells of his fixation with music besides other interviews with him and family members and his uni supervisors. You can glean for your own knowledge rather than second hand knowledge as that's how info gets skewed. Dimash interviews are easy to find on yt. Great reaction btw, welcome to wholesome clean sounds only the vocal king delivers!🤗 and yayyy!! another Aussie reactor!! More Dimash please. Subbed & dinged that bell!
