Wow! Amazing instincts after the initial (extremely understandable and natural,) freeze response during the abduction. So glad the cops let her know how amazing it was that she was able to save herself and remember so many details despite the extreme trauma- which we know messed with your memory, and typically makes it difficult or impossible to have coherent thoughts. Wonder if it was her nature to be cool headed, and /or have lower levels of emotional reactivity than the most?

ladies- NEVER go to the 2nd location. I heard this in another true crime video from an expert.. do anything you can to stay at that first location even if you are going to die there, at least your family will find you. I don’t think its unbelievable that the wives didn’t think anything. He chose them specifically because they were naive, impressionable and young. Sex with him is all the knew and had nothing to compare it to. They easily could have thought it was normal. I think we should be careful questioning victims in hindsight.
