12:30 - Patrice is onto something. Japanese are the White people of Asia. Filipinos are the Mexican people of Asia. Since America is heavily White and Mexican, Americans have kind of a familiarity with Japanese and Filipinos. This leads to their being more of an affinity for those Asian groups. Chinese, on the other hand, are perceived as too foreign. Their robotic personalities and stinginess don’t mend well with American culture and the important role that polite greetings, generous tipping, everyday small talk, charity, and comedic ribbings play in it. This leads to there being friction between historical Americans and Chinese immigrants.

I hung out with a group of 3rd generation rich Chinese kids when I was growing up in Toronto. They definitely do all have an "Us vs. Them" mentality that surfaces from time to time. It's beaten into them like dirt out of a rug

As an Asian, they're like the Jews of Asia. Loves money. The only difference is they're indifferent towards accumulating power which the former are pretty good at.

@@shamelessplug06from how I see it the Chinese see money as the means to the end of survival, while Jews see money as a means to power which at its end is survival

@@shamelessplug06Interesting, I could see that. I think their disinterest in accumulating power might have to do with living in a communist country. But they still have kind of like a caste system there don’t they?

Their game of silently taking over the world is working and not working at the same time
@shamelessplug063 ай бұрын
@@tomatoesofdoom Cause we Asians love money. Power is irrelevant unless it brings you more money. China taking over the world is solely based on economic reasons. Chinese people are afraid of losing their money. Notice how everything else in China fails in comparison compared to the United States whether it be international movies, military prowess, or even having a solid political bloc like NATO. That's the difference between us and Jews with the latter balancing both power and money.

That’s what immigration does; it creates mini ghettos within a larger community. These people never actually assimilate, despite what globalists pitch-they have no desire to.

I worked in food service for like 6 months and in that time I learned a) everyone is a regular b) everyone feels like you owe them something free because they're a regular and c) everyone feels entitled to a unique and personalised greeting every time they come in because they're a regular. I much prefer the Asian, we're not friends so you just give me the exact amount of money and I'll give you exactly what you ordered approach.

3:40 - it’s interesting that Patrice makes this comparison. Chinese are known as the Jews of the East. Just as Jews are accused of being greedy, cheap, insular, nepotistic, and subversive in USA or Europe, Chinese are accused of being the same thing in Southeast Asia. Maybe it’s resentment of their success… or maybe it’s anger that their success is due to these qualities. Probably a bit of both.
@jaydee90865 ай бұрын
Because China was/is a communist country.
@kanegarvey8484 ай бұрын
Jews are resented because they are somehow always the victim about everything and somehow never have blood on their hands. Meanwhile they'll sell you blood diamonds with the African kids arm still on it and not give a fuck.
@dash48004 ай бұрын
I follow a channel that covers crazy stuff in China and his theory as to why they are cheap, scammers trying to get every little bit they can and not carr about others stems from living in communism where their parents had to fight for scraps and didn't know where the next meal would come from. So a comparison to news that mostly came from communist Europe actually makes a lot of sense.
