To new fans since they are coming back around due to tiktok: She was 15 and he was 25-26 when they met. She was part of a squatter community due to home life and he saw her perform with her all girl band Fetus Fatale while he was in Kill Cheerleader, then they created their own band. Alice Glass has stated that he got her so drunk that night he took her to the back of his car and assaulted her. Idk if she remembered until later in life bc she was black out drunk but they also had consensual sex bc as her teenage journal said she was excited that an older man that was well known in the punk scene in Toronto was into her, she didn't really see what he was doing to her bc she was very much just a baby. Then follow that with 10 years of assaulting her, hitting her, not allowing her to have a phone, locking her in rooms, forcing her to perform even when she had a terrible stomach flu that caused her to faint on stage, he would call her a clown and tell her that all of her fans were laughing at her before she would go on stage, and much more. All to feed into her self-destructive and angry on stage image/presence. Then discredited her contribution to CC after she left the band without even saying it was because of all the abuse and instead she said it was due to creative differences. He also accused her of leaving to get help for her craziness and drug addictions when he was who introduced her to/got her addicted to drugs and alcohol and fucked with her mental health, AAAAALLLLLLLLL for the image of the "band". And that's when she released her statement. Hope this helps those new to this to see how much of a monster Ethan Kath/Claudio really was/is. And there's still SO MUCH MORE DUDE ugh

The boy basically was abusive and psychically and sexually abused her and forced her to sing songs for money etc. she ended up getting out the relationship and she sued him in the end 😊 Edit: the abuse went on for about 10 years. Alice (the girl) was only 17 and Ethan (the boy) was literally 30. Imagine an underage girl being abused by a grown ass man ☹️
