I read "My Policeman" by Bethan Roberts. With it, I could see how Patrick and Tom really resembled Zayn and Harry. I swear. To think it was written in 2012 and Harry casts as Tom in the movie. They came across to each other (Patrick loves Tom's wave and curly hair and Tom loves Pat's creativity in lit, music, painting). They spent their nights (intimacy and fighting sometimes), it ends during dawn. Homosexuality is a taboo topic which makes them hid their love. One of them got a girl and the other willingly wants to share. These some of lines from the novel. 'Why write again? When I know that I must exercise caution. When I know that to commit desire to paper is madness.' 💛 It was like them writing songs for each other, thinking to be discreet not to give away so many clues. or they would be discovered. 'Can you share?' 'Share?' 'Can you share me?' I felt him harden, and I nodded, 'If that's what it takes. Yes, I can share.' 💚 reminded me of JALBOYH, Zerrie engagement. 'It was clear that all efforts at conversation, let alone rekindling of intimacy, is useless' 💛 It was like them when every morning, every time the sun came out. They had to be private from discerning eyes. 'I'd almost forgotten the joy of waking up and, before you've opened your eyes, knowing by the shape of matress beneath you, by the warmth of the sheets, that he's still there.' 💚💛 'I can pretend she doesn't exist and risk losing him altogether. or I can put myself to ordeal and keep a crumb of him.' 💚 JALBOYH. 'But now I'm my own man, aren't I? It's up to me.' 💚 reminded me of Harry somewhere in an interview. i forgot where it was tho. 'I can't swim. Teach me. Teach me to cut trough waves with you.' 💛 Maybe Zayn had told Harry? 'Friend I can deal with. Friend. Girlfriend. Sweetheart. Fiance. Lover I cannot deal with. Lover is different.' 💚 Harry on Zerrie. 'I saw my policeman take in this golden vision with what I though was some interest.' 💚💛 Golden. they took interest in Golden Icarus too in the novel. 'What else can make him real, except for my words on paper? When no one else can know? How can I convince myself with his actual presence, of my actual feelings?' 💚💛 Zarry writing songs for each other. 'We should live here.' 'We should fly to the moon' 💚💛 Z: Fly me to the moon. H: If I could fly 'So you'll know there was tenderness, as well as pain. So you'll know how we failed, the both of us, and also how we both tried.' 💔 me breaking down.

So very much goodies in this video to unload. Love your quips. The lettering in PeoPle...hilarious and I thought back to MOM and his use of mixed caps there. Then your caption about his and Harry's generalisations just iced the cake for me. The details pointed out in Harry's demeanor and mixed feelings at both awards...thank you for highlighting that. It's natural as zarries to tie everything to do with Zayn and Harry. Yet you've always striven to see them as individuals first and foremost and I appreciate that immensely. It was really unlikely for Harry to not be the usual super cordial, enthusiastic sportsman he has always been. I didn't even notice some of the points you've made until you did. And Zayn being Zayn and being effusive in how he does things and how he shows his enthusiasm for things he cares about...even interviewers noticed it. This is so well compiled. I smiled throughout... even at the sadder parts. It's a very buoyant piece of work, to be sure. Thank you🌹💚💛

Thanks for your analysis. I always find your take interesting and i'm anxiously awaiting part 2. I have so many thoughts. I was always bothered by Zayn's Grammy tweets, particularly the last one. His 1st two comments could be perceived as an artist who is passionate about social justice in the industry , especially given his experience (which he alluded to in YTC). However, that 3rd comment, sent a couple hours before Harry was to perform, felt a bit personal. We will never know what truly transpired between them but I think Zayn shared his negative experiences with Harry and probably expected him to react the same way he would. It would be natural, but just because a person might be in a certain space on an issue doesn't mean those closest to you will be in that space too, and that should be ok. As you said, they navigate the industry differently. I think Harry will not rock the boat, he appears to be strategic and rational in his approach. Zayn seems to act more on emotion. One way is not better or worse than the other, it's just different. They can both learn from each other in that respect. For example, Zayn's reactions seem to cause Harry to act. If he had not acted on his emotions and left 1D when he did, Harry may not have pushed as hard, the 2nd time, for the hiatus which we continue to find out was needed. Who knows, Dunkirk might have been a missed opportunity, HS1 might have been different, and we may have lost Liam (😭 i can't imagine). All that being said, looking forward to part 2.

The fact that they have different opinions on how navigate the industry doesn't make me pick sides amd say which one is right and which one is wrong, nor does it show that one is doing right, the other wrong. It simply is there, exists and I guess should be perceived as it is imo

This is a very nice take on the situation. I can't say I haven't heard of it before from other people but I was struggling to believe that was the case because would Z go to that extent and publicly diss grammys which might again harm his career much more , but instead juts preferring to support H bts as he always does? Yeah, that's why I said we don't know what is going on and I would like this pov to be true so I'm glad we have opinions like yours. This means a lot of people's faith is very strong 🙏✌️

@@zarrylegends9443I agree with this statement. When Zayn was not nominated for a Grammy in 2016, an interviewer asked the Grammy president specifically about Zayn not being nominated. He responded by saying that Zayn coming from the biggest boy band, need to prove himself. I cannot be nominated for his first album. That is the same crap the Grammy's pull with Fine Line. Harry's first album was a test drive (A damn good one too). Fine Line was truly Harry Styles album, and was very successful, yet he was only nominated for 1 big category. Harry looked like he did not want to be at the Grammy's. I think that is what Zayn was referring to about buying your way to a Grammy. Artist whose album did worse than Harry's were nominated for the big main categories.

@@zarrylegends9443 No. What Zayn is saying Billie I., Jack H and SZA can be nominated for 5 to 9 categories for their first album but Harry, for Fine Line, one of the biggest albums of the year, was only nominated for 3 categories and only 1 of the 3 was considered a big category. People felt like he was nominated just so they had an excuse for him to perform on the show. Harry faced resembled someone who was thinking "I am only here because Ben is here".

Can’t edit the comment I left 8 minutes ago, but I meant chain bracelet, not pearl bracelet on Zayn’s right hand. The CHAIN has always been significant to Harry (listen to how relevant his cover of Fleetwood Mac’s THE CHAIN is)…and large heavy chain jewelry has been worn by both Zayn and Harry. At one point, they even shared a chain necklace bracelet set.

I really like Zayn, he is non-commercial yet he is so good that he can't be ignored and Soooooooo agree with him regarding the industry. Harry who I love to bits, seems like a product of the industry and has willingly accepted whatever that comes with it. I mean who wouldn't. But, Zayn is 100% right, people who are true artists and have raw talent are often ignored bcos they don't fit the industry mold. Zayn however does, I.e. looks, voice, popularity and appeal but he is BROWN...and wants control of what he does, which is one of the reasons he left 1D. Politics plays a huge role in the industry and you have to be in it to know it. Well do e Zayn for speaking up.

But I am not sure to understand why you think they will be good together. It seems Zayn is not very supportive of Harry and his career choice. The Grammy diss wasn’t fueled by jealousy but clearly Zayn is turning against the industry while Harry is benefiting from the support of this industry… I don’t think he can help Harry get through the nerve and anxiety of touring, of filming a movie of being the opening performance of a big ceremony, etc… Because he doesn’t understand the need to stay in the spotlight all the time. Zayn’s songs are barely about a committed relationship but blurred feelings between lust and affective dependence and love. It doesn’t’ sound like Harry to be honest. Another point is that everyone is the industry knows that Harry is gay. Everyone. Watch Jimmy Fallon joke about Narnia in his Harry styles parody. It’s the industry. They all live in pretense. And I don’t believe that could be possible if Harry didn’t/ doesn’t have at one point a committed relationship with a boy and not just some secret flings during one D (which he probably had too)

First part too fast to be able to read for sense- what a waste. Second part much better. The analysis is also balanced. The Grammys were the usual suck up to mainstream fake celebs producing nothing unique. Guess that's where the money is and that's all that the industry moguls care about.
