Yes a great tradition of gun building in Serbia.

I guess it would be quite popular if you make a video about the inside of the barrel using a borescope.

Since you are highly competent, I have a question. Did you break in this barrel. I got a new M07 and I don't know if I should do a break in, since it is a cold hammer forged chrome vanadium barrel? If it was a custom match barrel I would just follow the recommendations from the manufacturer.

Yes, I believe you should clean the barrel carefully during the break in period. Clean after the first 5 shots, then after the next 10. I use bore paste and a scope to check if there is much fouling. Every barrel is an individual so it is difficult to make a break in procedure that suits every barrel. You will see fouling reduce over time as long as you get out all of the copper deposits when you clean. The barrels from Zastava are very good and they even take care to smooth the lands at the end of the chamber of the M07. I think cleaning is very important for the first 100 shots especially.

The Zastava is one of my personal favorite rifles. Accurate, not too heavy not too light. It does everything well.

@@ozzistraightshooter9273 Thats so awesome to hear, did you tried Zastava bolt action rifles or mauser bolt action one,very good hunting rifles

What's the manufacturer of that scope? I know it has Zastava on the side, but who makes them and what are the specs? Thank you.
@ozzistraightshooter92734 жыл бұрын
Hi, Sorry but I don't know who makes this scope. The Belomo scope is better. The Belomo glass is sharper. The Zastava has good adjustments but the glass is not as good as Euro glass. I suspect the Zastava scope is Asian manufacture. Now I am using a ZRAK 8x56 scope which I love as it is super in low light.

I like it. Well most of it...Don't like that cheesy poly plastic trigger guard and magazine. A single stack magazine at that??? Considering it's based on Zastava's Mauser overall, surprising to see a single stack mag.
@ozzistraightshooter92734 жыл бұрын
The plastic magazine works very well and may be more reliable than metal in very cold climates. I know that several well known firearms failed reliability in Russian military test trials because cartridges would freeze to the magazine body when it is very cold. But I don't know for sure why they chose plastic for the magazine and trigger guard. Personally I like a metal trigger guard and plastic magazine.

@ozzistraightshooter92734 жыл бұрын
Yes I this is a Chinese scope and not in the class with the Belomo scope.
