Zatoichi is a killing machine and his character is one of the most sympathetic and very human despite his mythical powerful swordplay. The performance given by Shintaro Katsu is as always understated and simply fantastic. It's always a pleasure to watch it.

Very nice ending, I like how the fate if the girl is left open ended. Maybe the doctor was able to help again. Or maybe she is okay being blind again. What’s important is those evil people are dead
