Don't worry Zayn is a RnB artist. his label is fucked up and is labeling him as pop. while he has popular pop songs he learns more to rnb, soul, rap etc. little knowledge: ♡ in Tightrope zayn paid homage to his desi roots as Tightrope includes the chorus from Mohammad Rafi's iconic 1960s song Chaudhvin Ka Chand. Chaudhvin ka chand ho, ya aaftaab ho Jo bhi ho tum Khuda ki kasam, laajawab ho Chaudhvin ka chand ho... Are you the full moon, or the sun? Whatever you are, I swear to God, you are beyond compare! Zayn comparing his lover to the sun/mon and saying they are not comparable to it. he holds them to such high standards and is devoted to them.. ♡ river road was inspired by the Kahlil Gibran poem love and marriage which Zayn also tattood on his arm. Gibran creates his point of view on marriage, which is that couples should not depend on each other for everything, but instead they should let there be spaces in their togetherness. also he makes a slightly Icarus Falls (2nd album) comment which being close to the sun again. since icarus was burned by the sun and drowns, but Z says he is closer to them when he is floating (flying).

Hey Bro- I adored your review. Now a few things This album is not Pop, it is definitely Neo Soul or Alt R&B. It’s probably the first time Zayn was able to make the album he wanted. Vocals, he didn’t push his vocal at all. The man can sing like no one I’ve ever heard, NO LIE. His versatility is unreal. Zayn has a gorgeous rich Voice, that sounds amazing in his falsetto as well. We know how rare it is. Which song was your favorite? I think it was unfuckwitable. Anyway, you are now down the rabbit hole. Zayn was in One direction but left because they were a pop, then rock group and not his style. Make no mistakes, Zayn sang his ass off, but left the group due to Extreme Anxiety and he got an eating disorder. Go back and check out his earlier stuff and his other two albums: 1. Mind of Mind- First British Male to premiere at #1 in The Uk and USA. Then, his label dogged him with his second album Icarus Falls. It has 29 tracks on the deluxe Album.
