With the zen clip, its just one of a multitude of examples of how you have to play perfectly to get almost any value. Insane how every other tank doesn't get punished this hard.

can i ask why at 1:17 you wouldnt punch sig? he cant CC doom and it seems like a good way to force supp CDs and delay the push even more. was zbra saving empowered for the squishies?

Rock will cancel rocket punch, so yes he can CC Doom. Even if rock was on cooldown or there was no time to wind it up - that punch wouldn't have done anything useful to Sig and Zbra would likely have been insta deleted since it's an enclosed space. You want to kill the squishes so the tank has nothing to support the space it creates.

@@Teamfortressjunkie sig used grasp, he cant rock doom. so no CC. anyways, i dont think doom would be insta deleted. doom is still outside the doorway if punch lands and sig would be half. best case: doom's team collapses on sig with no CDs, worst case: nothing happens like in the video

2 months late, but I can answer. Space was already backed up too far into the bar. If he was outside in the open, then yeah it may have been warranted. If Zbra were to go in, he would be surrounded by the entire enemy and would 100% get blown up against that Zen. Even if he DIDN'T get hindered, he would have wasted his empowered punch, and then he would have to slam to get away. Two cooldowns and an empowered punch wasted for no gain. Why is this a bad thing? If a tank has no CDs, the enemy team has agency to push forward and take space. See how right after he went in with the empowered punch but wiffed it and the enemy team pushed forward and won the fight? That's why. It was a good plan from Zbra; he wanted to kill a squishy. But he missed, and got in too deep and got punished for it

Sigma ult should almost never be countered by punch. It’s no different than waiting to queen ult until sleep or nade come out. Just wait and do it right after 😊

Additionally, I think Zbra is the Shroud of Overwatch. In the sense that his mastery and understanding of the game mixed with the character having the flexibility to show us this type of hand eye coordination is impressive.
