The inspiring realms crafted by FromSoftware have always held me spellbound, and this video grants a mesmerizing glimpse into their creation ! It ignites a fervent desire within me to witness each installment of the Souls series receive the same masterful remaster treatment as Demon's Souls.

For animation or texturing for realistic renders?

@TimV7772 жыл бұрын
@@ibrahim1x for animation is better to do manual retopo in maya or 3d coat. Especially if there are going to be close ups of the face and expressions. Or you can also get great results with zremesher. There are many ways to do this. You can use polypaint to draw guides for the loops and then polygroup it and then zremesh that keeping the polygrups. Or you can use the guides brush to control the flow of the polygons. Danny mac has a good short tutorial for the polypaint method. Pablo munez has tutorials for everything else. I actually like the quick retopo in zbrush cos it's so easy. After this you can get the uvs using the polygroups you made for clean and non streched uvs. Then subdivide the low poly and re project the details. Just watch a few of pablos videos or streams and you'll get the hang of it. For the smaller details like the small fiber mesh you saw at the end you'll have to do it as cards and opacity textures since polygons matter in game. I guess it depends on the game and engine too. Ue5 can handle a lot right now.

I think fromsoftware has outsourced stuff like retopo to studios that specialized in retopo to here in india and probably other countries.
