Really enjoyed how the design evolved from the block-out(in?) to how some of the detailed bits were actually sculpted/smoothed instead of modeled

Thanks man! It’s a really good way to sculpt things in like that, give it a go!

Really cool! Always loved the simple appearance but yet intricate design of the Plasma Cutter. This might be a dumb question, but is there a particular reason for using the ClipCurve instead of the KnifeBrush?
@BTHardSurfaceConcept Жыл бұрын
I agree, I love the Plasma Cutter! No worries, I use the ClipCurve instead of the KnifeBrush cause the Knife one keeps crashing Zbrush instantly for me! The ClipCurve is like the good old reliable in a way, haha

Those 85+ millions polys will definitely kill my ryzen 5 3600 Is it possible to crank a little bit down the polycount by remeshing or decimating parts on the go? Or is that process too cumbersome? Either way, thank you very much for your 2 (more than just) tips videos, it is absolutely fantastic to see how those brushes can behave!
@BTHardSurfaceConcept Жыл бұрын
Yeah of course! Definitely decimate the parts/subtools when you are done with them or while you're still working on things. I am really bad at optimizing my subtools the majority of the time so it will cause ZBrush to crash here and there when I am working! Thank you so much for your support as well!

I tried looking it up again, strange the owner has taken down his original video for the brushes! I don't know where to get them now :/
@JaXuun Жыл бұрын
there is a google drive listing them. it seems to be the same drive that is archived in his zbrushcentral posts. so i assume it really is his google drive@@BTHardSurfaceConcept
