I'm loving this series. I've watched it in order twice already, and this will be my third and final time to watch the series. I love your use of the masks and fast zbrush standards to achieve fine results with very little fussing about. Very nice. My background is sketchup, so drawing organically is fairly new to me. I've been drawing with clay in 3D Coat and Mudbox for about a year, and never got a hang of it. I had tried zbrush a few years back and it was way over my head. But now that I own zBrushCore, I'm really getting a grasp of organic manipulation. So thank you, from me and all the many artists who are starting their first journey into organic sculpting.

This series of videos is the best and most comprehensive introduction to the topic. to make it short: i owned Zbrush before and had no clue how it worked. I sold it. Now I bought ZbrushCore, tested your approach and I am super happy I gave it another try. Thanks for posting this series of videos.

Because of your cartoony characters ZBrush Core video; I have decided to try my hand at sculpting in ZBrush Core program. I am just an extreme beginner sculptor. Meaning I've never worked in a sculpting program before, at all. But with your informative step-by-step videos as guidance, I am going to spend the money & dive into this 3D sculpting program, now!! I hope U won't mind me asking a lot of prolly dumb questions along my journey in learning the ZBrush Core program....and if I am able to use it, successfully; I would then spend the money to get the full ZBrush program; too. I am viewing every ZBrush Core video you've posted to start my initial education of the program, presently. *1st question is: "Can the ZBrush Core program be used with the Razer Chroma Keypad unit, for engaging ZBrush Core shortcuts?" *2nd question is: "I also have Palette buttons and knobs I'd like to use with the program, too; will those also work within ZBrush Core?" I am finding that the auto polish is ruining the model in other parts that I am not working on, the earlobes for example were sharp and deflated and so were the nostrils. Very upsetting as I spent hours on this project. Do you perhaps have non default settings in your ClayPolish? I am using the trial version of full ZBrush and things were going well until starting to use the DamStandard brush and auto polish. Without the polish I can't get the sharp edges where I need them... My ears were finally looking reasonable after an hour of tweaking and now that work is gone.

Zbri is such an amazing program... To bad it's UI and basic controls are overly complicated. The tranpose tool is ridiculous.

1:39 I do what he says but when I drag down it just moves the first set of teeth downward? I hold Ctrl when doing it too.

You are correct, Steve forgot to explain that you need to press the CTRL key to duplicate the object while using TransPose. But you need to press CTRL and hold before clicking on the middle white circle. If you press and hold CTRL after clicking on the middle white circle, it will do nothing.

I tried to scale the teeth as instructed but it only scales the bottom teeth. What gives? Something I'm missing?

Awesome lesson. The music is pretty loud when you are speaking at the end. Tone the music down a bit until you are finished talking.

that teeth drives me crazy...it does not work...i cant draw the line of the move tool, sure im missing a step...

If you happen to be using the full version of ZBrush you may have the same issue as me. I had to click a sphere icon next to Rotate in the menu then I got the line tool up. Could that be what you were missing?
