INSANE QUALITY! REEFLEX G-series lenses and filters for iPhone

Some of you were wondering if G-series lenses are compatible with the upcoming iPhone 16 pro & pro-Max... I reached out to Reeflex today and got their answer for you: "Yes - after reviewing the new iPhone 16 and 16 Pro/Pro Max line-up in detail we can say with confidence that our G-Series Lenses and Filters will work with the new generation of iPhone, which is what we expected according to initially insights and rumors. The Main camera (24 mm equivalent, 1x) on the iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max has remained unchanged (f/1.78 aperture as on the 15 Pro/Pro Max). The same goes for the Telephoto Camera (120 mm equivalent, 5x) which features the same 12MP sensor and has a f/2.8 aperture as on the previous 15 Pro Max, now available on both the 16 Pro and Pro Max.

Thanks for this video! I just received my new iPhone 16 Pro Max and now purchased the new REEFLEX case to go with the wide angle lens and CPL filter to film my outdoor hiking and backpacking adventures without the weight of bringing my full frame camera along. I shot using Apple Log this past Monday on a hike and thought the image stabilization was far better than my Sony Alpha 7 IV and the weight difference is substantial. How is the AF when attached to the 24mm on iPhone. Seems to be good quality from the video. I have been using freewell but they are not so good at keeping their promises, each year they change something in the system and you have to buy all from start. I really like the reflex filter systems where you can use all the filter and don’t have to buy separate ones like freewell

Many of your viewers will getting the iPhone 16pro that is being announced today for release this month. It will have with a second lens with an improved aperture and 48 megapixel count. I guessing in the works, that there will be a next-gen series from Reeflex for the 16pro.

Thank you for sharing this. I have pretty much hung up my Sony A7IV in favor of my iPhone 16 Pro. I keep my phones for 3-4 years and it’s good enough for a hobbyist like me. The Reeflex system is not cheap, but the quality looks great and they ship from Rome. I live in Italy and pretty much anything I buy will be hit with import fees. I respect your viewpoint and I am sold on the system. Also, the 17mm mount gives me some future assurance and opens up other rigs for use. I am going to buy a full kit, minus any macro or fisheye lenses, giving me a much smaller and lighter kit for my adventures. Your discount code is appreciated for further savings.

You are very welcome. To be very honest right now it seems like this is the only line fully compatible if it’s 16 Pro. I tested other lenses. I have here in the studio and the results are not there. I’m quite sure you will be happy with this line. Best wishes.

@@przemysawwnuk3286 Yeah guess we need a stronger gimbal for the whole setup as the M6 is max 400g. iPhone 16 pro max is 227 grams + the Reeflex case is 50g + the anamorphic lens is 160g + the VND filter is 55g. So you need a gimbal who can manage at least 500g (and more if you need to add a CPL (65g) and Mist Filter (65g))

Does the anamorphic lens can be use in portrait mode ? Or would be better to go for the wide lens ? I’m questioning myself because when I’m filming my self with my IPhone on my desk, the native 24mm is kind of too close and with the ultra wide I’m losing to much quality sometimes in low light

Hii-! I just purchased the DJ osmos Mobil 6 gimbal and was hoping to get these lenses! Especially the anamorphic. But as you said it maybe be too heavy to work with this gimbal. Is this correct? And is there anything I can do? Which gimbal for the best price would you suggest to carry lenses or do you think the osmos can handle the lenses? Any advice is appreciated thank you!

I am very sorry but yes DJI cannot handle these lenses.. You would have to get something like Hohem MT2 which is 3 in 1 gimbal to handle that

Honestly, having an anamorphic, I think they are overrated. Too clumsy for what they offer. Besides, the new 2:1 ratio beats the hell out of them.
