As a metal vocalist myself I can tell you that low growls are much easier to produce than the high screams. But his screams on this song are really great! Respect for that!!!
@timothyhoward61124 жыл бұрын
@@hikinghermit That's not 100% true. Some have a natural low gutteral and others a natural high. Lows are easier for you and me but my cousin who has a very similar talking voice as me only has a higher register gutteral, can't even start to develop a low.
@hikinghermit4 жыл бұрын
@@timothyhoward6112 it's two different techniques. And technically it is easier to learn growling than fry screaming. For anyone. But of course there are people who found their fry scream naturally, like your cousin. But in general growling is the technique that is much easier. That is so because it's already used by humans naturally and just has to be cultivated whereas the fry scream is something new. But why your cousin can't growl, I don't understand. Anybody can do. And it has nothing to do with your talking voice. That's why females can growl in the same register as men. It's not using the actual voice pitch.
@racosphinx4 жыл бұрын
@@hikinghermit Just throwing it out there, you can use fry for highs or lows, and you can use false chords for highs or lows. I think the person you're replying to is talking about high false chords, which are definitely easier than lows for me personally.
