Never Sleep on top of that, there is no such thing as a blue nose or red nose apbt. And the only way you'll get the color is if it's mixed. Blues are usually bullys even if they look like apbts. Reds tend to be staff mix. People just rarely know the actual breed of their dogs. But an apbt pure bred will never be blue nose or red nose. I enjoy the competitions that focuses more on the dog's natural ability. When you focus on looks, you get bad breeding and unhealthy dogs. Just look at the mascot for UGA. They wanted a dog to look a certain way and in the process they got very unhealthy dogs. There are now talks about UGA going with a mascot that is more like the older English Bulldog which is more athletic and healthy. This is one reason the Old English Bulldogge was created. These bullys look muscular but in an unhealthy way. Getting away from the original look and now you have a dog that looks like it can barely walk without having a stroke. I'm sure there are many bullys that healthy and in great shape but there are also some that can barely walk because they have a huge body with short legs.
