My printer 140XiII is showing "check ribbon" error, but I don't know what to do, it has already a ribbon installed

Hi-I will check with our engineering department to see if they can assist you.

From our Engineering Dept: Go into settings by pressing the setup button and using the arrows scroll through the settings until you get to Print Method. Make sure this is set to Thermal Transfer and save then you can go to Media and Ribbon Calibrate and save. Also make sure you have the correct size ribbon and media setup in the menu options. Hope this helps!
