Multiple teara, actually. And especially at 42:29 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh, and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the videos I have watched. The piece lf bacon spinning in the dishwasher was incredible and mind-blowing. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of KZbin history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , it absolutely moved my soul , and I don’t think I can ever be the same. This essay balanced my life forever. I have stopped thinking about horrible things in our lifetime, and I can’t thank you enough. Thanks for your comment, KZbin

I have an idea how to make the zombie villager chicken jockey farm more efficient, buckets of axolotls! After a quick look on the wiki, it seems only regular zombies can be converted to drowned if they’re submerged. Zombie villagers stay the same (and don’t drown). If you use a shorter block than a slab for the chicken container (like a daylight sensor, cake or trapdoor), then put a water source block with a few axolotl in it, they’ll kill any regular zombies that turn into drowned and “reset” the chicken for a new jockey. The main thought behind this is, as the farm fills up with regular jockeys, they might be taking away the chance that a zombie villager chicken jockey spawns Edit: after some testing by other people in the thread, it was unfortunately found that submerging any mob will force them to dismount. It seems the best way to clear out the farm is dispensers aimed at the rider, while the chicken sits on a trapdoor so it’s low enough (thanks to jupitisms for the testing!)
@Mira-bt3zx8 ай бұрын
That is one of the most creative solutions I’ve seen in a while
@jupitisms8 ай бұрын
You could also add a cats in a radius under where you afk and the classic trapdoor dropping mechanism around the outside to get creepers to move out of the spawning zone maybe increasing your zombie rates! Not sure by how much but should give a little boost!

You know those ransacked infected villages that can spawn zombie villagers? Do those villagers respawn?
@Surtwo8 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, zombie villagers still take drowning damage, so any setup that would turn regular zombies into drowned would just kill any zombie villagers caught in it. That said, I do think it would make sense to have some sort of manually activated mechanism that would kill all the baby zombies on top of the chickens, thus resetting the farm.

Yeah... It could work. Hitching post at the center of each tile. Free and re-lead the one you want to move and hitch it in the destination tile. Drag the captured pieces into a holding pit off to the side of the board. Get some extra pieces held in reserve just in case someone gets to promote any of their pawns. (I forget the rules. They can become rooks, knights, and bishops too, right? It's not limited to queens?) The monumental AFK grind to get 32 of them (plus however many extras for pawn promotions) spawned to be able to set this up though... I wonder how many he's hoping to collect for his trading hall anyway? Perhaps the chess board and the trading hall should be the same build.

@@MuljoStphoI mean in fairness, you don't /need/ them to be visible to be chess pieces.

Last time I tested, villagers didn't keep armor they wore as zombie villagers anymore, unfortunately. But that was a few years ago, maybe it's changed?
@Ironsight_Army8 ай бұрын
@ritasonka330 you cam equip armor with a dispenser to villagers, it just is not visable.. might have to use a resource pack. Or get different types of villagers, like jungle, swamp, plains, ect

The idea of having one or two that sell food and running around as a food truck sounds incredibly funny. Also, if there's any use for it, having one that sells feather falling is also really on brand for that specific villager.

Zed, the embodiment of "Peace was never an option."

Zed, i am in awe once again, this is amazing!! Idk how you manage to come up with so many crazy barely known minecraft mechanics, but this is the best one yet- And not enough people are talking about how you got the perfect trades first time too, the minecraft gods must have wanted to make up for how long you spent getting the villager in the first place lol And instead of a chicken jockey, i think you should name it something like the Jock Chicken, because it must be strong to carry a whole villager lolll I also reckon Grian has a bunch of name tags from all his fishing, instead of having to buy them, maybe a deal could be struck with him

I've only started watching Zed this season but this type of episodes makes me wanna go watch his previous seasons, because holy cow his creativity and Minecraft knowledge is vast and never where you expect it

Zed is really the definition of a mad scientist. not harmful in any way just doing stuff that would occur to no one but a madman

Out of all the crazy things you've done in minecraft, this has to be the weirdest. I also enjoyed seeing the other hermits reaction when you walked your villager around.

You know. "Zedaph was impaled by a bamboo shute" would be a pretty interesting death message. Ps: Have a great day Zedaph. Thank you for bringing joy into our lives for so long.
@loops82748 ай бұрын
You can probably actually get this by renaming a drowned with a Trident to "bamboo shoot"

In the chicken jockey villager farm, you will get reduced rates over time as chickens become occupied and dead ones form where there is not a chicken close enough. You should add a way to kill the baby zombies easier (a half slab at head height?)

When it found a bed and started to move towards it I got so worried! Figured that lying in it would for sure dismount him.
@thenopequeen8 ай бұрын
Yeah, I came here to see if anyone knows for sure what would happen if he slept. It would look beyond hilarious if the chicken was still stuck to his feet in the bed

Everyone's always talking about how doc breaks the game every episode in mind blowing ways and Zeds just here with a chicken like "am I a joke to you?"

Going around to the other Hermits and feigning obliviousness about the absurdity of it. Priceless.

I ... I feel like Zed plays a game that looks like Minecraft ... but manages to play the Minecraft from some parallel universe where villagers ride chickens, you win prizes when you guess whether or not a sheep is looking at you, and pigs are used in synchronized diving events

And yet another video that proves there is no one else out there doing what you do, Zed. I just love it so much!!!!

Seeing a video like this makes me want to see what would happen if you put the many minds that are on this server into one project. The fact that this is season 10 of Hermitcraft and yet the Hermits are still able to surprise each other with pure vanilla mechanics just shows the depth of the game, as well as, the creativity of these incredible people!

sounds like X knew EXACTLY what was going on; and honestly, Knowing what had to be done only makes it more impressive;

I must admit, I’m less impressed by the villager on the chicken than I am by your ability to find new ways to baffle your fellow hermits.
