Agreed :( I did for 2 years my dailies and yes you can get alot of cards, but with alot of effort maybe 1 meta deck every expansion. Hated whizbang meta and decided to not play for 90 days, best decision ever since i can get one of these decks now.

@@N3mdraz They do give you enough to get multiple meta decks (assuming you are completing your weekly and most of your daily quests). Enough for a full collection? No, but you don’t have to play every class, you can easily keep up with 6 being completely f2p

I appreciate this. The last time I played Hearthstone was when Doctor Boom was the hotness and I had no idea how to evaluate the loaner decks (much less even know they existed). The good problem I'm having is that I sort of want all of them except the demon hunter.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how, despite how salty he may be at times, Zeddy talks so positively about all of these decks? Like, I don't think he's getting paid to say any of it, he's just that passionate about the game! For how much Blizzard has been screwing with players in recent years (intentionally, or unintentionally) his love for this game doesn't seem to ever die down! I wish to be as hopeful for this game as Zeddy is... Keep the Vibes up good man! 🤩

Oh gosh I was expecting smaller differences. The difference in dust value between DH and warrior is 9,800 dust! Ok I'm for sure picking warrior then, especially with that free hogger hero from the anniversary event.

The fact that Zilliax is in every single loaner deck is kinda insane. I understand why, as putting him in only one would make that one deck the obvious best choice, but it feels insane to me that the devs are okay with a card like Zilliax that can be put in every single deck. It makes me think about Yugioh bans and Pot Of Greed. Pot of Greed was banned, not because it gave one specific deck an advantage, but because it homogenized deck building to the point where every deck had to run Pot of Greed otherwise your deck was not optimized. Konami wanted to promote diverse decks that were all different from each other. Coming from Yugioh I thought that was the point of a banlist (or in hearthstone’s case a patch), but the existence of Zilliax in all of these loaners tells me that “no, the hearthstone devs do not see a problem with homogenized deck building, in fact they encourage it”.

I mean, first of all every zilliax form is arguably a different card, so homogenized deck building is not the issue here, second of all its not run on every deck, since the nerf theres only really 3 viable forms out there, and that is the 9 mana big value minion, the flood zilliax, and the handbuff variation. For any non-control deck that cant flood the board as easily zilliax is just not good enough of a card, and the most played deck right now (big spell mage) doesnt run it.

Seeing how much free stuff people get with loaner decks I decided two months ago to make a second account to rotate between the two. I returned to hearthstone at the beginning of the year (inactive since un goro) and found out most of my collection was worthless (many hegendaries are free now). I guess it's the best strategy if you want to play more than one deck per season being f2p player

has anyone done the math on how much dust value can you get by doing daily/weekly quests for 90 days compared to waiting and then getting one of those? looking at decks like the shaman one i feel like I literally got less meta relevant cards and dust overall by actively playing

I havent calculated, but i agree with you. As a F2p player i can get alot of cards, but not even 1 meta deck. Rlly hated whizbang meta, didnt log in for 90 days and can now choose one of these decks best decision ever

Probably Dragon Druid, Eonar and Dorian are Legendaries that see play there in a Druid combo. Yogg doesn't see as much play, but it sees a little bit and is fun. Dragon Druid is also played a bit there, or Highlander, you may want Fye and the other Dragons for that. So yeah, all of the Legendaries it gives you are at least semi-playable, seems best unless you hate Druid. Reno Warrior is also not bad, it sees some play in Wild, arguably because people just love Reno decks but still. You could go that route if you really want to.

Came back a few days ago, played with the 'old free rotation' just in time for it to change. Fell in love with the priest (for the first time in my life/used to be a hater) and now that that's out, i was thinking of maybe picking up the Death Knight.

Yeah the power level is definitely the roughest part of that, I don't think learning new mechanics is too bad. There are some exceptions though, like Brochures not telling you what's on the other side, you straight-up just have to know that one.

With regards too the loaner decks has anyone else had the exeperience of playing a loaner deck getting to really like it only to find when it comes time to pick one to keep the deck i had been playing with wasn't listed among the loaner decks. I did posy on the forums on the tech support bit but got no replys has anyone else had this happen and if so was it able to be fixed. Its a bit late now i wanted to play and since it wouldn't let me until i chose a deck i went and picked warrior. i hate it have only played it once. thought i would ask here since this is about loaner decks. its not that its holding me back i have a very good palli that i am currently hitting a 60% win rate with. Its just highly annoying and i really do like hunter.

Oh man I'm so glad I came back when I did, and got to choose from some absolutely dogshit worthless unviable decks (Blizz admitted as much), played like 10 games and now there's a bunch of *NEW* loaner decks barely weeks later! Fuck this game, I ain't spending another dime till I get the same shit for free that others get. Anyone who only plays standard is *literally* better off making a new f**king account every time loaner decks drop - the system is broken.

I hate the new cube😢 It has bug when choosing to eat zilliax 3000 And it summons 0/0 aka without any module The old cube can summon normally but the new one can’t And it keeps summon at the end of my turn even the cube was stole by the enemy

these look very similar to last sets free to returning player decks i know because I was using them several months ago.After you get that one deck to keep the game retuirns to feeling like crap all p2w every single deck relies on the p2w cards to get over the top.NOBODY wants to play one deck over and over and to be able to make several decks is very costly.I barely got tarted with the last set and now we have another mini set ...cash grab after cash grab Blizzard never stops grinding for more money than the game deserves. I feel even worse for all those buying battle passes to play that garbage Battlegrounds.
