Post Devdas, she lost almost 5 Big movies and forced to lose the stardom presence that she had from Taal to Devdas, I hope this award was some sigh of relief for her. Ash could have been better in terms of movie carrier if she would not have fallen in Love for her Ex. And as an audience, we would have the privilege to see a Padmavati's glorious beauty on screen.

Rituporno Ghosh is one of the greatest directors in Indian Cinema. She could have shown her gratitude for him. He had choosen her. Aishwarya is a good actress indeed. But director made her come up with the best. And I am surprised that he was not invited in the show. FYI, folks who are commenting here for the actress, I'd suggest to watch the movies directed by him.
