Zeekr's Vice President, Lin Jinwen, has just shared teaser images of the brand's highly anticipated SUV on Weibo, currently codenamed CX1e. This exciting new model is expected to be officially revealed later this year. The teaser images, featuring an orange-patterned camouflage, hint at the SUV's sleek design and advanced features. The livery pattern with the letters Z and X suggests that the vehicle might be named ZX or XZ.
The images reveal potential styling cues such as flush-fitting door handles and low-set headlights. A lip above the front window hints at a LiDAR sensor, indicating that the SUV may have advanced self-driving capabilities. This new SUV is expected to use the SEA 1 platform from Geely, which it will share with the mid-sized 007 sedan. This architecture promises robust performance with a double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension.
Zeekr, founded in 2021, is a sister brand to Polestar and Volvo, all under the Geely umbrella. The upcoming SUV is expected to be a significant addition to Zeekr's lineup and could help the brand establish itself in the growing electric vehicle market.
