Why is everyone making a big deal about him calling the Warden Queen the old ball and chain? Anders said it to my warden when he asked her what she would do after this and I said I'd go back to court. It's a term of endearment, he does it to tease her...because that's what he does. Also Alistair would totally be scared of his wife after she stabbed the Archdemon with a big sword, my warden's face was scary!

Jordan Porter the canon is that the warden is a dalish elf who made the ultimate sacrifice and died killing the archdemon so if we play with canon then we sure know where the warden is since it is stated ingame that the warden is buried in weisshaupt along with the 4 other wardens who died in similar fashion.. but i am pretty sure it will be explained somewhat since we now know that hawke will be in DAI so i'm pretty sure the warden will be too in some form

Ohhh right thats a pretty bad ending to be the canon one I think the ritual with Morrigan should of been canon. Mine was a city elf who made alistair king killed the archdemon and survived and had a huge romance triangle with Morrigan and Leliana I think thats guna get some interesting dialogue and stuff in DAI.

@bioblitzer I remember the first time I played Dragon Age: origins and we were doing the Grey Warden test. We past a bunch of guys strung up and he was like "Look at that! poor slobs. that just seems so excessive" . I think that was the moment i fell in love with the series. Alistair is the bloodline of the series in my opinion.

It depends on your choices in DA Origins. That is the line you get when you get a female warden to marry him, then do Morrigan's ritual. Other choices will get a different line there.

you import the game decisions, not your character. your warden is history, you play a totally different character. you meet SOME old faces and get comments on your former warden and decisions, nothing more/less.

origins had the best characters, hands down. anders could have been really cool, but he just never did it for me in awakening and DA2, even when they pushed him hard in DA2.
