When at 20:00 you broke bedrock and it went to the footage of Veil from the beginning, and comparing the hotbars of when you jumped and he landed.. i was shook. the cinematography is on point, all foreshadowed but not spoon fed, i applaud you, Zeemyth, for i may not watched you before, but this is a definite 10/10 and a subscription for future projects.

At the beginning, you can hear him saying "I wonder if it's actually Veil to Blank" (or whatever the line is at the end) right after its mentioned that the bedrock is not a new sight. You won't even understand what's being said on a first watch, and details like that are always nice to see. Unless you commented this, I wouldn't have also(?) gone back to look.

i'm just curious about the whole end section, because like. from what it looks like, the footage from the forum of the world that starts the whole thing off seems to almost be from zeemyth? like, from the ending it almost implies thats him in the footage, but the hotbar from when he's breaking the bedrock and the hotbar in the video is different, so i'm still unsure exactly what it is that's going on lol

so! VIDEO ANALYSIS! Firstly, I checked on the minecraft forum, the Veil2_ user and posts with the text "Left under the red arch" do not exist (I just decided to make sure). Secondly, as usual, in the Zeemyth style, anomalies, impossible buildings. Thirdly, I'll go straight to the ending - Veil2_ uploaded a video from Zeemyth (or Zeemyth is Veil2_. I'm still not sure). Fourth, Zeemyth, on the Veil2_ server, apparently communicates with Veil2_ itself (I may be wrong) And Zeemyth for some reason in the Aqer skin (Veil2_ is it Aqer? Or is Zeemyth an Aqer? Or all at the same time?). Fifth, an interesting detail! Zeemyth (or Aqer?) says at the end that Ordisi8 sent him the card. Although in the beginning, the card was sent by Ordisi9. Does this mean that Zeemyth is the ninth person who entered the map? Or it's the ninth... A round? Hm... I hope there will be a sequel to this video that will answer most of the questions. Something noteworthy is how in the Aqer interview, he was willing to talk about his name and possible origins. Perhaps it is because he didn't know the interview was about Veil, but it is interesting he was willing to answer that question that might seem pointless to Zeemyth, instead of answering a question that wasn't right. Asking about names would then be a right question. Perhaps a right question would be the meaning of other names too, like Veil. Perhaps this flytrap of a .zip file is some veil for something else, or that the mystery (or the result of answering it) is a veil so the flytrap can consume its prey.

this video managed to encapsulate an energy that's so inexplicable and it has done it so well. the best way i can describe it is when you're playing an old game, abandoned to time, and you figure out ways to break it, to then explore places outside of the borders you should be in, the borders where everyone played decades ago. Except you pulled it off so that behind those borders, there's actually more. It started off as a documentary, to then slide into the point I didn't even know what was going on, plus all that with hint of nostalgia that such an old world gives you. extremely good video, 10/10

This was genuinely one of the best piece of media I’ve ever seen, the whole experience was phenomenal I was constantly in different states and the video the whole time was masterfully guiding me through everything. Every emotion every little bit of worry and the highs of fear too. This one video, a literal Minecraft video gave me an experience that I have never fully felt until now. For this I greatly thank you, this has been a life changing moment.

At first I genuinely thought this was a documentary about a real Minecraft lost media. I do want to point out that there are some sequences that felt missing or broken throughout the whole video, some weren't properly explained, pieces/plot points that weren't properly established, and dialogues that sounded structureless. The progression of the video felt iffy in that case, information seemingly been left out or doesn't connect to some of the pieces presented. The direction, cinematography and sound design was beautiful. While it isn't exactly of the same quality as a full fledged documentary film, it gave me the feeling of such. The way it was directed is definitely following that of a documentary film, and it was done in such a way that wasn't too gruelling yet comprehensive and progressive. I really enjoyed how the character was able to connect the puzzle in a slow progressive sequence, each slowly giving answers while not withdrawing curiosity. I also want to mention that I can see the Nexpo influences lol.

This is fantastic!! Reminds me of all the best parts of audio mysteries like archive 81, or the white vault. The suspense, the way things double back, the little tricks in the audio to make everything come together. My heart was racing like wild when the long hallway was shown, and then the name following, then the CHASE-- SO good!!!! Really, just fantastic. Thanks for all your hard work making this, and thanks for sharing it with all of us. I had a blast

HOWEVER it kind of pulled me out of immersion at 18:30 when you didn't just /give yourself tnt and whatever else you needed like I love the storytelling here but oh my god that felt dumb. Again, really want to stress that the video overall was absolutely fantastic, I'd love to see more from you in the future with stuff like this. Edit the first: last thing I wanted to say is that I think this video could have done well if it was in a longer format, just to flesh out some questions that never really seemed to be answered, like what the absolute f*ck is the deal with your creepy ass interview stairs?? What the HELL is going on with Veil's server?? How about the fact that blocks placed in your worlds are placed in bedrock.zip? Admittedly longer style videos do seem to make some people refuse to watch some videos, so why not make this a series? I'd imagine it'd be something akin to Anomidae's INTERLOPER series. But, that's just me lamenting on the fact that this video isn't longer because I want more of this high quality content Edit the second: yooo looks like my wish was answered lets goooo Edit the third: I'm really liking this "Edit the..." thing I'm gonna keep it going

Up until the moment when the bedrock world "mirrored" your singleplayer world, I genuinely thought this was another ARG-covering video trying to keep up a mysterious atmosphere. The ending is somewhat simple yet it hit like a (admittedly small) hammer. The only two hiccups were leaving the /give command not expanded upon in any way (Would the world screw with you if you tried to abuse it? Did you decide it's not worth the risk?) and the fake ass "fall" down the hole at 9:08. Other than that (and shit compression, but that's more of a YT issue I think), it's an amazing vid.

This would be such an amazing life action movie! someone finding some video on an old, not used anymore forum about a dark place (the red arch and stuff) and their stuff that they made (idk what they are... archeologist? designer? just something idk) are there, like the things that they made with the newest things in it like a random scratch on a wall, all in a mellenials old place, and so, this person contacts people, like you did, and every one of them leave a single letter, an adress, once all the things are in place, this person and his friends who he dragged into this, has put in the most logical order, and boom they got an adress.... they go there, a young lady (somewhere late 20s) answers the door asking how she can help them, and then they ask about someone named Veil, shes in shock, asked them to come inside, and tells them how he was her son, not knowing she is actually really young to have a kid, especially when the kid was 10 she says and veil dissapeared 5 years ago, she doesnt realise shes actually that young, and they leave with the house behind them crumbling to dust, the mother just smiling and waving to them, and then the shot slowly switches to the crumbles spelling a date, while slowly fading out, END TRAILER (without them knowing, thats the release date of the actual movie) anyone knowing hollywood producer or smth? im signing up for audition👍(hopefully u like the idea.... spend half an hour just writing the trailer XD)

damn, this was really cool. i like the idea of a living map that fucks with you. it feels like all the bedrock there is kind of just another way of screwing with you, youre playing minecraft but very little is actually mineable and usable. good job, this was sick. just wondering about the ending, who was talking in the interview there? it sounded like it was zee and aqer, but from the filename it seems like an interview with the guy that went missing? it seems like the forum guy that eventually sent zee the bedrock world file over discord was also respondible for sending the world file to veil? and then he showed aqer, based on the voices, who then eventually talked with zee in the same way, but im not 100% sure.

This video is absolutely incredible. I've yet to see any kind of content like this in the Minecraft scene and as a result have become a new subscriber to Zeemyth. Seriously, fascinating work. Because of how engaging this video is, I kind of want to take a crack at what I think happened at the end there. My questions with the video largely began at the start of the "Still" chapter, mainly as a result of the drop in video quality, the change in hotbar, and obviously the strange glow past the "Red Arch." With a small amount of investigation, I think I've come to the conclusion that this video has an "endless loop" type of storyline/ending. The reason I say this is because of the way that the footage of "Still" lines up with the footage we are shown in "The Investigation Incipium." Go back and watch both pieces yourself first. In Incipium's footage (which, mind you, despite being posted by Veil is not actually Veil's footage, as the person recording says, "I wonder if his name is actually Veil 2 Blank" indicating that they are a person other than Veil themselves who does not have such knowledge), the recorder walks up some stairs (speaking what was said earlier), looks slightly to the right, stares down the walkway on the left, passes through the throughway in front of them and comes around the corner looking left towards the window. In Still's footage, the exact same events occur, down to the movements and the words that are said. The only difference is that a) the voice is Zeemyth's instead of the original recorder's and b) we see more of the footage following the window. There's obviously some sort of repetition going on here. The other question to ask is, "who is/are the other victims of this repetition?" I would say that's Aqer, not only because he's basically the ONLY other person in the video besides Zee and Veil, but also because he seems to want to keep Zee away from the investigation as a whole, as if he completed one of his own and was scarred or scared by what he found. There's some evidence to this idea, too. - The fact that his voice almost perfectly matches the Incipium and Veil interview videos, meaning he probably looked for Veil himself after Veil told him about the world and discovered something horrible under the Red Arch. - The fact that his and Zee's as well as his and Veil's conversations are exceptionally similar (which is something the video almost expressly points out). Ultimately, I think that there's a larger force at play here (if that wasn't obvious already) which may be trying to bring players under the red arch for some unknown reason. The main reason I say this is because of the odd Discord user that Zee receives the bedrock.zip file from. The user, who has no pfp and no previous messages with Zee, is named Ordisi9. The Veil interview mentions the person who gave Veil the bedrock.zip file, which he says was named "something like Odyssey8." Ordisi9 and Odyssey8 are strikingly similar, except for the increment in number. Perhaps the number represents how many people have walked under the Red Arch and discovered what is behind it. We also see other seemingly malicious forces at play in the video itself, primarily with the strange flipping of a lever by seemingly nobody and the "tunnel segment." Whether this is connected to Ordisi9 or not cannot be stated- maybe it's Veil in some way trying to stop Zee's investigation before he reaches the Red Arch? Overall, I love this video. That's the big takeaway.

Best analysis yet🫡
@awookadoo990911 ай бұрын
I find this analysis pretty engaging to I decided to add some theory of my own (that might be just a streych) but I've found out that "Aker" is a name for an Egyptian deity that is supposed to be some kind of underworld god and a guardian/gatekeeper of it. As the normal Minecraft dimension is called overworld it would mean that by getting under bedrock we are going to the underworld. Aker is really similar to Aqer, that's really the reason I've found that interesting. I also don't really understand Aqer's action in the video as he gives Zee clues and the server IP but at the same time tells him to stop the investigation (if I understand that correctly). I think there could be some kind of meaning to the nickname "Ordisi" but I don't really have a clue.
@Ahnock11 ай бұрын
ordisi9 is also present in the forum thread where veil posts the initial messages. i definitely think youre on the right track with this though, i originally thought zee WAS veil somehow, not realizing that the footage early on that syncs up with the end footage had different voices but the same words, rather than being completely identical. the conversations in the respective interviews i think are the key that it's like, some kind of scenario loop, everyone who enters bedrock.zip goes through the exact same experience, down to what they say and how they perform in the world, and then continues outside of it. i think aqer had his own exploration of the worldfile, and whatever happened to him past the red arch did something, and caused him to then perpetuate the cycle by answering zee's questions the same way the previous person did for him in his interview.
