When I lived in Brunei as a kid, I'd often see Proboscis Monkeys while on safari through the mangroves, but the funnier story comes from when I visited a zoo in Malaysia. Essentially, i brought a toy jaguar with me as I wandered around the place, and when I got to the Proboscis Monkey enclosure and propped myself up on the viewing platform, they caught sight of the jaguar and quite literally went ape shit, the males roaring and flopping their red chillies towards the jaguars direction. In hindsight, probably wasn't that funny for them, but its hard to take them seriously when they were doing that.

Another fun fact: These monkeys have a very distant relative living deep under the sea. This relative a squid with a very similar nose. This squid has an aggressive nature as it has to be neighbor with a sea sponge who keeps bothering him for no other reason than to satisfy his own amusement, as well as a starfish who is dumber than a lobotimized clam and the very rock he's living under.

Ze, thank you!! Life doesn't seem to like me much for the past few months, and right now my face is being held together by the scaffolding screwed into what is left of the bone. I haven't smiled much, and I'd forgotten what "laugh" means... until I watched this video! A "cocktail erection" and a statue with projectile vomiting "all over everything". Yep, I laughed until my eyes started to leak, and now I feel better. So thanks again, and as laughter does seem to be the best medicine, I'm going to take another dose of your brilliant creation!
