I was stationed in JN for many years and got to see the snow monkeys several times. Their societies are extremely strict. Only royalty are allowed in the hot tub. They are not actually, all the species humans descend from are extinct (at least as far back as we can reliably trace, who knows, maybe papa fish is out there somewhere). Modern primates are other branches in the great primate tree. And macaques are not apes, these guys are less related to us than the likes of chimps and gorillas.

But I prefer the frigid -30s we get for the better part of our six month winter. I've spent some time in Phoenix, AZ and damn did that heat ever make me miss the cold. Beautiful place and great people though, definitely gonna be headin back to the U S of A as soon as I can.
