When both teams are even in gold, Chovy feels that GEN.G is at a great advantage and thus continues to farm cs. When GEN.G is 3k behind in gold, Chovy thinks that GEN.G is at a small advantage, and so he TPs bot to farm to secure their "lead". When GEN.G is behind 7k in gold, Chovy thinks that GEN.G is at a disadvantage and so he looks for a lane to farm in order to regain control of the game. When GEN.G is 10K behind in gold, Chovy thinks that the team has reached a desperate situation and avoids teamfighting for as long as possible in order to catch up in farm.

it's super memeable, but getting mid push is one of the most fundamental and essential parts of setting up for objectives. The dragon had not been started. Chovy had time to cs then move and still be early to the fight. Doran getting caught is miscommunication on both ends, but Chovy wasn't the inter here.

I’m going to say this now and people need to remember it for future reference. Chovy is really good, but unless he’s proactive as a midlaner for his team, he’ll never win worlds. You want AFK farm for late game in EVERY game, sure there are games where it works, but his passive play style and just doing nothing around the map even when he’s playing Ryze really cost his team today

People have been sleeping on Zeka all year. Anyone watching LCK this year knew that he had DRX on his back pretty much all of summer in terms of his ability to keep his team in games. Like Deft and Beryl are a better botlane than people give credit for but Zeka is easily their MVP, he was going toe to toe with the best midlaners all season, and actually had the most Player of the Game points among midlaners in the LCK in summer.

the thing is, mid already slowly pushed anyway and he doesn't need to shove more than one or two minions. He can join like few seconds earlier and the lane will still be pushed and he's on position to backup his team, especially since it's a soul point drake. It's not 100% on him but, it is on him for not joining the fight earlier.

Chovy had time to cs and rotate early, which actually means his decision was optimal if his entire team also played optimal. He trusted Doran to know his limits, and instead Doran inted. And Doran wasn't the first to die unnecessarily. Blaming Chovy here implies he should not trust his teammates to know their limits. And if that is true, Chovy isn't the problem.
