I loved this movie as a kid. The lounge singer Malkovich was my favorite part, when he got into his own portal, and everything was malkovian.

It’s the same dance as the one in the beginning. There might be some differences but I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be the same dance. That’s why it’s funny and awesome.

Im currently using this film as a subject for a literary analysis I'm doing, looking into the idea of perfection and control, and so id like to thank you for this video. Going in and analysing the film completely alone is tricky, and i think you explained this interpretation of the need for control well. Of course, ill be looking into many other sources, can't wait to whip out google scholar...but this particular video was really helpful. You articulated things here smoothly, great to get my train of thought going. Combining big hefty scholarly articles and more personal youtube essays are a fantastic way to get a feel for the sorts of angles i can tackle the analysis. Your video here in particular has been really helpful to me! Thank you for this video, it would be criminal if i didn't subscribe to you because just going off this video your content looks incredibly cool. This is a year old video and I'm not sure where you are at now with regards to adding those artistic elements into your work, whether you've began that journey since this video or if its in the works...but regardless, good luck! Ya know. Forget I said anything. Any analysis of this film is cringe. This film need not be picked apart. It speaks to the viewer everything the viewer needs to know. It’s a masterpiece. Each time you watch it it tells you a little more. Leave my favorite movie alone.
