By 2031 the West is unlikely to remain relevant, so a film like this will either not come out or will be local to the USA. Your content is no longer cutting edge in quality and has already been outsourced to third-worlders and processed by AI, but the worst thing is the topics and themes don't resonate with people outside the West. If even in your countries the “message” is understood only by people who are terminally online, then thirdworlders and secondworlders are unlikely to understand anything of your baby "culture war" politics.

People that are a fan of the Soulsborne series didn't "buy into" hype. The game delieverd precisely what it promised us. The more casual players or tourists probably felt unfulfilled or were underwhelmed.
