Anyone who has recommendations on what to change or to add based on this early footage, please feel free to let us know. We want to make everyone happy, not just a few. Lol

I think it could do with some beta enemies textures. I also think the blobs would be a good addition for your Zelda 64 recreation

For example the Deku Scrubs were red in the beta just like how they were in the other Zelda games

Please make this into a full, an almost full, or map recreations Alpha/Beta Zelda 64 mod, compatible with custom textures and everything! Plus make your own retexture of Link in Alpha/Beta form. And make sure to release any mod work on this as "ppf" patch file(s). I will be really happy if you manage any of this pull this off. Great work btw! :)

Is it possible to retrieve the blue and green blobs in your recreation

Custom enemys complete with animations and AI are possible to implement. We would love to implement them, as well as the early octorocks and darknuts and stalfos, but that will be at the second to last stage of development. We're currently at the second stage, making the maps. The first stage was getting hud textures and other things all fixed up. After maps are all created, then we get to the last stage, which is adding the bells and whistles. Custom title screen intro, all that stuff, as well as final testing.

Cool, thanks! Do you know of any other type of music that was used for Zelda 64 trailers or teasers?

Hi! I would really like to help or work with the project or help you in any form. Is there anything i can do?

bro, the AeroArtwork project, what happened to you? and if yes, by when you would launch it to download and what emulator would be needed? PS: you have a temple type like the Mayans, as well as the banjo tooei but bigger and more enemies

Alright, first off m8, I'm not Areo, I'm Chris. Second off, Areo announced what happened, he's off to college and he canceled the project, but was suppose to upload the incomplete maps at some point, but keeps getting side tracked, so that, and the many other projects that got canceled got me so irritated, I decided to just do the whole community a favor and started remaking beta maps from scratch based off all the old footage and screenshots we have from earlier builds and uploading them as soon as I'm done. Second off, how to get it up and running, so to completely bypass any legal troubles (Roms and the sorts) I've decided to just upload the object files, which they themselves can be transferred to the debug rom via hylian toolbox, and then can be played. Now, I did create a tutorial and other stuff as a secret, as well as some other goodies, within the binary of the description (just a short scavenger hunt puzzle to get the zelda puzzle mood going) but just to skip that, I'll post the link to that here. (Be sure to read it thoroughly) docs.google.com/document/d/11FpDIbP35SJmQ_3xqYQ4k6InYN32kWoBJEDYLxSLwh8/edit?usp=sharing Emulator wise, I just use project 64, simple as that. Now, the ps message... I've reading it a few times now, and I'm stumped. I don't know if you were drunk or... what. but, like. You randomly brought up Banjo Tooie... and... Mumbo Moutain... I don't know where that came from or where that's going, but yeah. Um... Hope you enjoy the map. If you and a few other people are having trouble injecting the map into the rom, I'll make a video on how to do that.

I never said you were areo, I only saw one comment of yours that I was going to pass the maps to you (or that I understood) and I thought that then you will be the one to continue them, I repeat I never said you were areo, I just thought that hour, that banjo tooei was a basic idea that I thought you would continue the maps and you would do more, I was not drunk just gave an opinion, of course what I read was not to your liking, sorry for the previous comment, it was only something exciting to see that you would do the project but well

Hey so, I think you and I have the same goals in mind. We've both came to the same conclusion. Since the actual files will never be released, I want to start working on recreating Zelda 64 from the screenshots we have. I feel it would be beneficial if we worked together on this. I don't know much about coding but I can definitely help with creating textures and potentially cells for the game. Is there a better way I can get in touch with you so we can talk about this?
@NERDmNERDf7 жыл бұрын
If you'd like to remake a few textures (16x16, cause m64 limitations) that are seen in a few beta screenshots, and let me see what you can do, then I'll get in touch with you more on that.

Looks fantastic! A quick suggestion: I'm pretty confident that Shadow Link is based on an early model of link showcased in screenshots from around early 1996. Maybe you could try using it as the player model?
@NERDmNERDf7 жыл бұрын
I'm looking into it, and I do see where you're getting from, with him not having the gloves and stuff, so it does make sense, but I don't know how I could use his model, and also change the textures as well. But at the moment, I'm just in the process of making maps. Good point though. (Need to load both models in a viewer to really check the differences.)
