I was in master mode and doing the sercet of the cedars quest early for the climbing pants, around the 3rd tree I hear something odd and look towards the mountain top and it was the dragon pre mini boss. I stare for like a minute and could actually hear it moaning for help, sad but awesome.

I find this boss goes against their philosophy of "do stuff in whatever order you like". Without frost gear and flying paraglider it will be nearly impossible to beat the last two stages.

Except you can't leave the plateau in the first place without a paraglider, and you get a cold resistant shirt as well as recipes for cold resistance on the plateau as well. Unless its even colder here that you need more specialized equipment, I'm not sure since I haven't visited here yet.

I took a picture of it and the Hyrule Compendium said it bore no ill will towards people, so I wasn't scared of going near it just to admire it, even though it seemed a little suspect with the Ganon colour scheme and extra eyes ... But when I reached the goddess statue she said I had to free it from malice so I was like: "Okay here goes ..."

Remember the first playthrough of the game, I accidentally went up here directly after leaving the Great Plateau. Spammed Apples to stay alive from the extreme cold. Same here dude, magical encounter that I had no idea of until I was right there. Quite a little challenge ridding him of ganon's influence. Yes he appears on the bridge/gate west of the lanayru mountain between the hours of 12am - 6am (usually around 3am). If you get close enough to him, he breathes ice on link and freezes him for a couple seconds

I remember finding this dragon by complete accident and what's more amazing, I was almost at Hateno Village, at night, when I saw a distant weird and scary breathing sound. I climbed a top nearest mountain and saw something huge and glowy on top of Lanayru mountain and I was scared as fuck but I just HAD to check it out. I came up there and was scared to death but eventually I found out that it needs help xP.

I freed Naydra's spirit with little more than 6 heart containers, barely an upgrade to my stamina wheel, a few plates of food for cold resistance and stamina boosts, and the warm doublet. Yes, i am a beginner, but i was in no way prepared for what i was about to achieve at such an early stage. It's not your gear that counts, it's the strength of one's courage. Be Sure the one you found is Farosh, there's 3 in the game :00

Be Sure there are three dragons, the one you saw is most likely the lighting dragon Forosh, this one is the ice dragon Naydra and the other one is the fire dragon Dinraal, if you see one then it most likely that in the region you're in there is either the Spring of Courage/Power/Wisdom, Forosh protects Courage, Dinraal is Power and Naydra is Wisdom, if you see a dragon, I suggest you shoot it with a arrow, you will see a shinny light come out of it, watch where the light lands and pick up what there (either a scale, claw, fang or horn) they are worth quite a bit of Rupee

Once i thought Lanayru was where the gorons were so i climbed all the way to the top with only three hp I climbed so high up i didn't even realize this was a secret boss, so once i realized i did it for nothing i went down the mountain and died soon after
