EXPERIENCE POINTS STRATEGY: Do not set the crystals in the Palaces right away when you defeat a Boss. Instead, jump over the statue to exit the Palace. What this means is that each time you return to a Palace, the enemies there reset, allowing you to gain more EXP for higher levels. This is especially useful when gaining up to level 4 or 5 of Life, Magic and Attack.

1:11:00 or so: You don't need to cast Jump to get over the ledge, as a running start from the floor and two quick presses of the 'a' button will get you up onto the ledge with no expenditure of magic.
@Leonardo-ux6px3 жыл бұрын
You're right. I used to jump on the very edge, and then jump up again. And you can also jump from one ledge to another (right, to left) at the same place, without having to use the Jump magic.

I rode my bike eight miles in heavy traffic to get this game at the Granite Run Mall when I was 12, and got a flat halfway there.

Zelda 2 could be something of "Dueling Game" along with "The Legend of Getsu Fuuma", "Simon's Quest", "The Battle of Olympus", and "The Lone Ranger".

i used to play this as a boy, then on an emulator in iraq during down time there. this game reminds me of the middle east. especially the villagers in the game and the greco-roman palaces that sort of remind me of an ancient byzantine empire monastary i seen in northern iraq. this game is ALL hajjed out..... 😀👳♂️👳♀️

Watching this late at night, knowing my workday is going to be as "adventuresome" as playing Zelda II for the first time.

Trying to play this on a Switch with the online ROM is kind of a pain. The joycon buttons just can't give you the DPAD this game needs and then you add the input lag on top of that. Quite the frustrating experience.

I was just logging in to comment and say the same thing. That's the funniest way to die really. That aside, you had a super close call just a moment earlier while fighting the dragon, it looked like you're going to fall off the edge.

I'm turning 50 this year. The intro is like "Love Making" music to me ❤❤❤. I remember going to Woolworth's and spending my allowance to buy a Nintendo mag. There was a number to dudes in WA, who could help me out of jams, pre-internet. I LOVE ZELDA. BTW, I'd play for hours/days killing blue Octorocks, until I leveled up to the MAX. THEN, I'd go slay with one hit, until the latter levels.
