About to 100% OoT for the first time ever, literally only missing the quiver upgrades and the Double Defense, then I find out the “Mask of Truth” deku nut upgrade is glitched on N64 and I can’t get it cause I already got the poachers saw🙃

Hey, I tried the upgrade with the mask of truth and the deku just started to attack me, and the y did not give me anything, do you know why?

You have to put on the mask the second you go in otherwise they might see you without it. That's probably what happened. If it doesn't work you're glitched.

The same happens to me... they just give me rupees (after dancing a little or hiding underground) or stare at me without doing anything (if I come closer to them, they hide underground) or attack me... maybe I have to walk quietly before putting the mask on... I am having another problem with the slingshot upgrade as well... It doesn't give me the upgrade but JUST 50 rupees! 😤😤😤 (I am playing the N64 PAL version ported to Gamecube but it doesn't change anything compared to N3DS version)

It’s a glitch on the n64 version where if you got the poachers saw before the upgrade it’s impossible to get.
