I've been using your old pre-BotW-release tracks as alarm sounds for the past seven years. It has gotten to a point where your old intro has become a natural part of my mornings and manages to put a smile on my face every single day. Over the years, I 've got so used to it, that I nearly forgot who it was that made these incredible tracks, until I saw this video in my recommended. It felt like reuniting with an old friend, after spending many long years apart from each other. When I saw the channel name and heard the track I honestly started crying. There were times, like the final few months before the release of Breath of the Wild, where every day was filled with boundless excitement. Something special was on the horizon. The memory of listening to your music has been engraved onto my heart and that of many others while we waited - memories of imagining the wildest and most adventurous stories while zoning out to your renditions. Some would say it made the time bearable, but to me your music has become one with the game's memory - inseperable from one another. Recently, I thought about how special that time really was. I contemplated if such a time could be replicated or whether it should be left alone as a happy memory. I couldn't shake the feeling that, despite everything being in place for another incredible release, something was missing this time around... until I heard this. Now I know what made it special back then. It is the same thing making it unforgettable once again. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your music and for being a part of so many people's memories.
