Yes, it has been hiding under our nose the entire time. Those same 3 notes were in one of the trailers as well. Also this is a bit far fetched but if you listen to this main theme you can kinda associate each instrument to a race/character. In my opinion drums = gorons, piano = zora, flute = rito, violin = gerudo, sax = link, voices = zonai and erhu= zelda. If you link the erhu to zelda then it's really mind blowing how well it's hidden in the trailer.

This slaps so hard you don’t even understand, like the creepy beginning because of the chanting that sounds like it’s in reverse but there’s this build up with the strings in the background that’s faint at first but it gets louder and louder. Then all that build up leads to the flute coming in that pierces through the chanting then everything stops and out comes everything. You can no longer hear the chanting because it’s filled with triumph and hope because Link is here. He pierced through chanting and uneasiness of the beginning just like the flute. Then you think it can’t get any better they go and bring it even higher and it just sounds great. It’s only at the end the chanting and uneasiness comes back in just like the theme of the game(possibly haven’t finished it yet) of an infinite cycle. Where the darkness comes in then the light shines and in the end darkness sweeps back in and it starts all over again.

My first thought when searching this game up after a year was: “People hate this game? Why?”
@TheoRink4 ай бұрын
Exactly why do people hate it so much
@therealaakarjain3 ай бұрын
Yeah it's frustrating to see so much hate online as someone who really enjoyed the game. I think it comes down to two things - the big one being that BotW just set impossibly high standards for a follow-up in people's minds. But I also like to imagine there's something a bit more subtle going on - it's been 6 years since BotW came out, and in those 6 years a lot of shit can happen (and has happened). To many, life may have seemed a lot more carefree back in 2017-18, with BotW being a big part of those memories. Or, on the flipside, maybe BotW helped them get through tough times - either way, these players were able to form deeper connections to that game. In 2023, it may be harder for them to enjoy TotK the same way. Those players are older, more cynical, more keenly aware of BotW's flaws - and thus more likely to be disappointed by TotK's flaws, rather than being blown away regardless like they may have been with BotW.

When I cleared BoTW and heard its theme, it was like hearing the story itself. Every moments could be remembered. ToTK is no different. The music seems to intertwine between time... just like the story. You can just imagine Link's adventure listening to this. This song gave me chills, like BoTW's. Very good OST for sure.

Can't believe we're just about at the one year anniversary of this game's release. My GOAT. I still hum tunes from this game randomly. It's reached being my favorite Zelda soundtrack too, overall. What a special experience, so many great moments, it provided me last year.

I’ve played many, many games in my life and Zelda games are some of my absolute favorites. This game is easily the best video game experience I’ve ever had and even after 150 hours and the story finished, I still have so much left to do and am enjoying all of it immensely. God bless the Zelda team for giving us this masterpiece!

I love how they mix Zelda's lullaby with the dragon theme at the end, symbolizing her becoming a dragon. It was a spoiler in the trailer this entire time and we had no idea

This is the best TLOZ main theme I’ve listened to since Skyward Sword (which is my favourite). I loved it since the very first time I listened to it in the trailers. I especially love the sounds that make reference to all the Zonai/archaic stuff and the version of the third trailer where the include the saxophone’s solo. One of the best main themes of the franchise ❤ kudos to the composers

0:37 and 1:42 I like to imagine that the segments before these parts is representing the unimaginable hype the fans have for this sequel, hype so large there's absolutely no way anything could live up to it, and then these triumphant instruments come blasting in as if to prove everyone dead wrong. And they sure as heck did with this masterpiece.

the zelda lullaby at the end played with the erhu is basically a direct statement that zelda is the light dragon, since that's the same instrument used in the dragon theme!! that's so cool!!!!

@@DiamondBerry84 RIGHT?? it's so cool. also, just the other day i realized that when you go inside the school on hateno village, zelda's lullaby also plays for a few seconds somewhere in the school theme. its nice how music combines with story details.
