Small detail to add to this... I find that Zelos is just a brand that I've found attracts me for a variety of reasons. I prefer their design aesthetic, which seems modern but tasteful. It's definitely not for everyone... They recently released the Spearfish, and while it's very nice looking, I thought it was maybe... Too nice looking? It started to not look like the Zelos I like currently. I also think Elshan designs these with enough interesting color ways and details that it's very easy to "catch them all" or trade around for different variations, which keeps it interesting. To top it off, Elshan's customer service is fantastic. His involvement with his community is very impressive.

I bought my first Zelos 2 years ago and now have eight. The incoming salmon dial Comet will make 9. And you, Jody, are 100% to blame, having been the first to expose me to the brand. They have such a variety of compelling models, original designs, and unique materials, that you can have many of their offerings in your collection with no duplication whatsoever. And the unparalleled customer service and strong resale value just give you so much confidence. There is a reason they are ‘more-ish’, as you put it. Well done on the review and video. The aventurine sparkle is difficult to capture on camera but you did outstanding!!

If they come out with a design and color way you like, watch the countdown timer and don’t hesitate. They sell out fast and are definitely worth it. I’ve only had an issue with one and Elshan himself immediately responded, sent out another before he would let me return the first one to make sure I was happy with the replacement. You just don’t get that attention anywhere else except maybe Helm.
@frankquarters2 жыл бұрын
Recently "hooked" to the brand by the Spearfish as my first Zelos! Went for the carbon fiber (the only one to NOT sell out!) but wanted a less flashy, dark daily and it is by far the most comfortable, joyful feeling watch ever. I like the looks less than the feel, and I've several higher-end Seikos, Marathons, Baltics, etc, that I like the looks of more, but my Zelos fits and finishes head and shoulders above them. More accurate too than all but my mega quartz Tuna. No doubt will add more Z's to my collection, what with that lovely new box they included and them extra slots and all ...

A perfect combination of dimensions, finishes and clean styling! The bling on the face is fantastic not overdone but very noticeable and a joy to look at as it twinkles in the light. I am a Hamilton Khaki Field self wind sort so this Zelos ticks all the right boxes on my spec sheet. It is so nice not having to look at another diver's watch. :) It's nice and thin. The price is not horrible but I think it should be about around 450.00. They sell out so fast because they hardly make any. You would think they would have learned to make more quantity since they sell so well.

It was real nice but ended up gifting it to a firend, it was my way of testing bronxe and it wasn't for me in the end so went for the CW sealander GMT. This watch is beautiful I wish I could have gotten one but unfortunately missed out on it. They announced a 38mm Aurora field aventurine but it doesn’t do it for me the way the Comet aventurine does, but I’m still considering it. The blue lume, thinner and slightly larger case, and over all case/ lug design on the Comet just really makes it worth the extra $300 over the Aurora. The purple 38mm Aurora is serious competition to the aventurine in my opinion tho and might end up being the one I go for.

It’s pretty and the dials and the brand will obviously sell it in the truckloads for a Micro.. but. Isn’t it a little underwhelming? $529 usd for effectively a watch head with no real originality versus previous zelos and in fact axios designs. A std Zelos strap and no bracelet and no caseback logo? Basic sellita hand winder can be found on Hamilton watches in the $300’s. Don’t get me wrong because i like it, but there’s a small element of phoning this one in by Zelos somewhat in my mind. Nice review Mr M.
