A student asked in dokusan " If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it does it make a sound?" Suzuki Roshi answered "It doesn't matter."

cause it really doesnt :D if it would matter we wouldnt hear it either so technically speaking it does not make a sound

Fine. That's how. Just don't be obsessed by it. Also, don't let it drive you mad when your significant other sleeps with someone else. The mind is a volatile thing. Someone may honestly love you today, but not so tomorow. In any relationshp, be realistic (not naive and not cynical). Love comes from being realistic. Watch and act. Always watch and act. Don't dramatize and don't be calous. Suzuki said "Sex is like brushing teeth--healthy and pleasant, but not something to be done all the time."
