His teach is always the most clear, all ways. Why do others Sunims not teach us so clear and simple and effective?

Hyon-Gak Sunim, I used to meditate with my eyes closed, but I realized it is wrong after watching this video. I was so happy to find you at Hwagye temple in Seoul, but now I’m in America, and you left Korea. I hope I can visit your ZCR and listen to your lecture in person again. Thank you for your great words and teachings. - SooJee-

Sunim, Thank you so much for this teaching. Some years ago, I met you in Kloster Buddhas Weg in the beautiful Odenwald for a Sesshin. Very often I am thinking of this weekend, sitting on my cushion, looking down on the wooden floor and listening to the birds outside and of course to your talks ;-) And now I detected your KZbin channel and I'm so glad that now I can listen again to your teachings. I really hope to come to Regensburg one day. Best regards, Sonja

Sunim, I just found a very useful KZbin function which you can turn on script flow in the right side of video, that makes people whose mother language is not English like me far much more understandable what you say. Hurray~~~~~ Thank you Sunim~~

Cool, thanks! Please send us instructions for how to do that!

Hyon-Gak Sumin 🙏🙏🙏 Love to listen to your KZbin teachings. However, often myself SK Sum would put forward proposition questions to you and like to hear your comments. Hopefully you would answer them. Thank you very much!

Just read your Beethoven's articles and Mahler's edition of the 9th. Would love to hear your intake on how is best to listen/comprehend classical music for non-professionals, in order to reap the most benefits and actually understand it.Thank you!

Each time I've listened his Dharma talk..maybe 3~4 times on this one...Same speech but so different meanings, different nuances...why?

Snoring and sleeping people in zendo is annoying! Do teachers ever wake those guys up? It’s the only sound that drives me batty in zendo
@HyonGakSunimАй бұрын
Each Zendo is different. Some maintain this practice of waking sleeping people up, and some allow things to just “happen“. It all depends on what the teacher there wants to emphasize.
