These type of exhaustive equipment specific education videos are the best content of your channel. These made me subscribe.

Thanks Garics! It’s something we hope to do a lot more of. I’ve always wanted to do more of this stuff but I only do these videos part time so the reviewing of the influx of new products has always taken priority. I now have some help, so I’m hoping to change this is the coming months. Thanks for subscribing!

At least you didn't suggest just buying the $299 Matthews infinity arm as some other cinematography channels do. I have put Nato clamps at the ends of my arms and it's much faster and more secure.

Have someone ever been in the situation of unscrewing too much the arm until the point where it’s dismantles and the pieces fall off and there is no way you can’t reassemble it again as you don’t know in which order each pieces goes ??? Please help if you know a video showing this .. I’ve a F&V articulating arm ..

Great video. Thank you. I needed a rod clamp and didn’t even know it was a thing. Quick question: is “NATO clamp” the same thing as Arca Swiss? IE are they compatible standards?
@vistek11 ай бұрын
Thank you for the lovely comment! To answer your question, an Arco Swiss is a base plate for a camera. It’s on of the more common “standard” plates for attaching a photo camera to a tripod. Whereas a nato rail is simply that - a rail, which is designed to quickly attach various accessories. I have not seen the rail employed in a photography setting, but more so for video accessories. I hope this helps!

Excellent breakdown of proper (and improper) uses of magic arms. I found it very useful and probably saved me a lot of grief. Many thanks!

Nice Reviews👍 So you think of IS strong enough to mount a GoPro on a motorcycle?

Are you asking if an articulating arm is strong enough to mount a GoPro? Yes? Most definitely.
