I wish she would have mentioned that she co-financed her film Malcom & Marie & made sure to give the crew points on the film (shares of stock on a film) & when it was sold to Netflix for $30 million even if they were given 1 point (1%), they made at least $300,000. She obviously values the creative aspect of film making rather than money & recognizes crew members deserve to be part owners of the films they work on👏 👏👏

@@chisomo8088 Yes bc she didn't even mention Malcom & Marie from what this video shows. If you're looking back at what she she has done that was a major milestone accomplishment for her. It was her first time ever being a lead actress in a movie, and it was a film she had a lot of creative input as she was also an executive producer. I know she had a pretty busy year so maybe it just slipped her mind, but I wish she would give herself more credit.
