Zenith Model 6S527: Part 4, Finishing The Wire Replacement and Troubleshoot

In this video I got the wire replacement done and the radio had some hum. I troubleshot it and got it repaired and it now sounds great. i just started working on one of these. you gave me a lot of things to watch for. i like your thead idea for running wire back through the spring in pt.3. it's been two years since you posted this, so i don't have high hopes...do you still have the spare radio? i need a few things for mine.

Just a suggestion, if you want to demonstrate the radio operation you’ll need to clean up the environment of all interfering devices. Nothing detracts interest more than having to listen to noise. These radios should exhibit crisp clean sound, the exception is shortwave. Take em to their limit.
