Flight testing the 64-inch Sensenich propeller
In this follow-up video, Zenith Aircraft's Roger Dubbert and Sebastien Heintz go flying in the Zenith CH 750 Cruzer to check performance (especially cruise speed) of the UL Power UL350iS engine with the 64-inch Sensenich two-blade ground adjustable propeller. Speed in verified at 2,600 rpm, 2,700 rpm, and 2,800 rpm (max continuous rpm for the UL Power engine). They conclude that the 68-inch Sensenich propeller yields the best overall performance.

64 " prop is almost as big as i used on my last airboat, i used a 72" direct drive mild SBC with small chambers headers and 650 edlebrock. Not ideal RPM range for engine but i could walk dry ground with 3 aboard.

We use the Garmin VIRB video editing software, using the Garmin VIRB camera's GPS data overlay. Quite simple to use and useful for test flights

Yes, with the required equipment. That said, it is a light aircraft, better suited for VFR flying.

you need to safety wire the prop pitch bolt heads, if i got a plane, i'd have the bolt heads drilled for safety wire, plus you need to torque those bolts...

Happened to me on my car. Put the LF tire back on and hand tightened the lug nuts. Got called away and forgot to tighten them. My son uses my car to go to work after a couple days and the wheel flies off! Wouldn’t that be a sight to have your prop come off! The wheel damaged the fender but all else is okay. The plane of course, wouldn’t be.
