I’ve been really bum at light parrying, still am, but that dead zone change really helps me just counter feints and block easier, all around it’s a good thing to change.

The deadzone was such a good tip . Iv had mine at zero for years and it never dawned on me to increase it when playing heroes like my main the warlord and i would constantly accidentally go into his all guard 😫 yeah this wont be a end all be all fix but dang itll help

I always parry too early, this game messes me up because I’m always trying to move as quick as possible, when with parrying I gotta slow down. Probably should just stick to fps because there it’s all about how quick you can aim and shoot, I love medieval battles but the fighting is just too stressful for being a game.

Not to this video specifically but to other videos that recently pop up, how to parry lights, how to parry this and that. Bruh, parrying is not an issue in the game, if you play for a bit you get the hang of it pretty easily. With the amount of 50/50s in the game NOT going for a parry is the right answer most of the time, especially in high level play.

I’ve played since like s4 I stopped around when hito or bp was added because I saw either character and immediately deducted that Ubisoft has no absolutely no idea what they’re doing anymore. (this was already obvious when they added the Wu Lin) I came back, they’ve added questionably even more horrible characters not only to go against but to look at. (Except Warmonger) I’m also 90% sure they changed the parry timing on every single move in the game making it even harder, I play on console so lights, zones, and even if the animation is a little janky it fucks everything up and makes it all unreactable unless you snort 14 pounds of coke before each match

How to? Don't play on a 60Hz monitor, only use wifi, have your ping at 300. Use nabushi, dodge, unlock, zone, relock. Everything dies. Your gonna be God mode. Finally tip switch color blind mode 2. Ez mode

You block in the direction the attack is coming from, then when the animation from your opponent basically touches your character, you want to press the heavy attack button. If the timing is right you will completely counter attack. This will work on unblockable attacks but not on any kind of bash attacks.

Yes time the block and when their weapon makes contact with you press the heavy attack button you should perform the parry if you time it right.

you will never parry lights on consoles under any circumstances, you will never be able to react to lights, stop wasting your time "training" parries because it won't help, several people who played and knew how to parry lights on PC and played on console already reported that it is extremely difficult even to defend light this game has never been, is not and most likely never will be a game where skill will be required let alone rewarding, you can train 30 minutes a day to get good at a little online game and an idiot with a broken character can come and beat you just spamming lights (and of course you won't be able to parry) It's obvious that there are people who have thrown away any and all remnants of humanity and just live inside For Honor as if it were a religion, these people we call pro players, and it's obvious that they're going to parry lights and play really well, and it's That's when I ask you: Is For Honor a game made for casual people or pro players? Is it just a game for good people with quick reflexes? so why do you keep playing?
