I was the first to complain about the ET MAXs performance on the track vs the street. I said the exact same thing you said and all the trolls came out saying, “its never the wheel, its the rider” Stupid comments implying I don’t know how to ride. But guess what, nobody has proved me wrong.

Love your videos. Thanks for great content. I've been riding an ET Max for a half year now and it has taken a lot of trial and error to understand its cornering desires. I've noted significant improvements when shifting my weight WAY forward while turning. This allows for super stable, hard carving at high speeds. I also have the pedals in the top most position because I was grinding out in all other positions - that's how leaned over the wheel can get with this forward weight shift. It was a wild and scary ride taming this beast though... The ET Max wobbles, especially in quick turns, are no joke. I have a Veteran Patton too and it's amazing how different I have to ride these wheels to optimize for performance!

The Blitz does come with a true 90/90 tire. It's just that the rim is narrower than for example the Master V4 C40 motor/rim. I have both wheels......the Blitz and Master V4 C40. I mounted a 90/90×14 Bridgestone Battleaxe on the Blitz. It fits no problem. I also mounted a 80/90 Michelin PS2 on my Master V4 C40. And I'll tell you that the 80/90 Michelin PS2 tire on the Master V4 is slightly wider than the 90/90 Bridgestone Battleaxe tire on the Blitz. So it's definitely the narrower rim on the Blitz that causing this confusion.

Asfar as i know correct me if im wrong, Blitz has 90/90 tyre but doesnt measure 90/90 because of the thin rim the tyre measures less in width on that rim.

Even on etmax the tyre is measured less in width than 9 even with c38 rim which is wider than c32, i measure mine like 8.8cm something like that.

Have to be careful where you meaure the opening to fit a tyre. Usually the narrowest point is the hbar frame between the frame stanchion sliders. Master range and blitz are almost identical at 89-90mm with zero gap redundancy for space. I do like the community pushing fot better transparency and standards. From manufactures.

Rim width obviously makes a difference but looking at the CST catalog CST even print it in black and white that the 90/90 is only 85 wide!! TIRE SIZE RIM SIZE (inch) OVERALL DIAMETER (mm/in) SECTION WIDTH (mm/in) MAX PRESSURE(kPa/psi) 80/90-14 1.85X14 500.0 / 19.7 75 / 3.00 225 / 32 90/90-14 2.15X14 518.0 / 20.4 85 / 3.30 225 / 32 Edit: and of course their 80/90 is only 75 wide.

Tires are tricky. For one thing, the width of a tire depends on the rim it's installed on. It's also affected a bit by air pressure but for the tires we're talking about, that effect is probably negligible. The rim shape would be the main determining factor. Measuring with a caliper is not really valid, unfortunately. Tires are going to vary. You can certainly conclude that one make/model fits better or you like it better, but it doesn't mean the other one is defective or fraudulent.

Please research friction and grip more, friction and grip are entirely dependent on the coefficient of friction and weight(normal force). The idea that increasing the width of the tire will increase the grip is just a misconception. The easiest way to see this in your real life is by taking a heavy rectangular box and dragging it on his thin side versus its flat bottom side, they will both be equally easy to drag.

People making mistake friction with tire grip. Reality is tire get destroy or worn out when running due to friction. That make the material leave the tire and result in the tire leave material behind. Imagine slicing a cooked yam over a rub surface. By making the tire wider and shortening the contact patch, each band of rubber sees much less energy than if it had to pass through a narrower patch. This keeps tread temperatures lower and therefore grip higher.

the etmax wobbles are because of the lack of good pad positioning and foot placement on the pedal

Very interesting, the ET max wobble! It’s up high, loose suspension? , raw power, hard to handle. Lets see if somebody can tame the beast😅, I have a Lynx in the house, feels planted . Great save from the wobbles

I believe this is accurate information. Mr WrongWay is also praising Bliz as a very good jumping wheel. But he also pushing that he is not into speed racing. I concluded that Bliz is not a race wheel but it is a jumping wheel or trick wheel. Thanks for the info. I almost buy it. But i am neither speed or playing trick with EUC.

In my opinion, the manufacturers need just to increase the width from 9cm to 10cm for the 19 Insh category and from 9 cm to 9.5cm for the 14 Inch wheels.

By the way, thanks for the video you made talking about how you can start learning on an advanced EUC from zero. I followed your advice and pleased to say I am enjoying my lynx as my first wheel and at arou d 250km now. Thanks for that

So the 90/90 label doesn't actually describe the width of the tire at all. It's a ratio of the tire width to the sidewall height. So on the blitz if the sidewall height is also 82mm, then it's a 90/90 tire. Car tires are labeled that same way. I may be wrong though let me know what the sidewall height is

The tire dimension "90/90-14" is a standardized way of describing a motorcycle or electric unicycle tire's size. Here's what each part of the dimension means: 90 (First number) - Tire width: This refers to the width of the tire in millimeters. In this case, the tire is 90 mm wide. 90 (Second number) - Aspect ratio: This is the ratio of the tire's sidewall height to its width. The second "90" means that the tire's sidewall height is 90% of its width, so the sidewall height is also 90 mm. 14 (Third number) - Rim diameter: This is the diameter of the wheel rim the tire is designed to fit, measured in inches. In this case, the tire fits a 14-inch rim. So, a 90/90-14 tire is 90 mm wide, has a sidewall height of 90% of that width, and is designed to fit a 14-inch rim.

@@ZenLee That's why I like this wheel personally. It isn't actually built as though it's for 100% racing and 100% street, even though that's how Begode advertised it. The low center of gravity and the lightweight motor seem to make it great for all around riding. I just ordered a blitz yesterday, so I'm waiting for mine to show up to get some concrete reactions.

@@ZenLee I now have my own Blitz with the stock tubeless street tire. It is printed 90/90/14 on the tire itself. It seems the trend for these small Chinese tires is for them to be nominally labeled with their size as opposed to being measured labels. Kinda the same thing as plumbing hardware or 2x4s. So I suppose that is pretty dumb if you're trying to get a tire that's exactly it's labeled width
