From what I see Wise is more laid back and formal, not in a non personal way, but he is not as impulsive as Belle Whereas Belle is more impulsive and cheeky, she expresses herself more whereas Wise always keeps some sort of cool head

Belle’s such a gremlin, I love her! Her bed being a bit messy is relatable. (My room is clean but sometimes I’m so lazy to make the bed) And I love how much Wise cares about Belle. Someone said that if you choose Belle, Wise will sometimes ask Belle how she’s doing but if you choose him, his dialogue options to Belle are exactly that. One of the most supportive siblings I’ve seen.

fr, belle also looked extremely gorgeous in this shot because of her big eyes. Her shot also looks a lot cleaner and has a noticeably greater contrast between light and shadow. But i also love that they have different expressions, Wise clearly furrowed his brows while Belle raises them. I just love the fact that they decided to do this kind of stuff where they change dialogue, animations, etc to make them truly feel like their own character. Although Genshin does do this, it’s only to a certain extent to which it doesn’t really feel like the twins have developed a personality of their own. HSR is literally the same person just swapped gender, like literally, so i wouldn’t judge them for making the MCs similar. However in ZZZ, like genshin, you choose between actual siblings who have actually been given different and unique personalities. I not only came to like Wise as my mc since i made that decision, but i’ve also come to really like belle as the one on the side. She’s cheerful but also very reliable when it comes to work. This game really communicated their personality through the body language and tone so i ended up choosing dialogue that fit wise and plan to do the same on another server where i plan to choose belle and choose dialogues fit for belle. I know im repeating myself but i just cannot get over the fact that they actually, genuinely, for reals, got their own personalities and it’s just done so well compared to past experiences with other hoyoverse games (this isn’t a hoyoverse game vs hoyoverse game situation, it’s just a pleasant surprise that they went all out on zzz).

I feel like a second playthrough with a different sibling would still come out to be a fresh experience because of the different perspective. Honestly feel like Belle being the one actively doing the work while Wise runs shit in the background fits them perfectly, Belle feels a little more co-dependent if you're playing as Wise because he's still doing a lot of the stuff he's doing when you play Belle, and he's doing everything else.

Hm? I've never gotten that. Whoever you choose not to play takes over a lot of the video store management, and in the Wise route specifically, there are several points where Belle is stated to have done stuff Wise just wasn't there for. Managing the power bill, saving people when she got trapped in the hollow, and keeping up with their schedule are the primary ones we know about, and I am certain there are plenty more things we don't. I know this because several throwaway lines of dialogue expressly state Belle is doing certain things so Wise doesn't have to. In one of Wise's pre-sleep dialogue lines, he notes that there's still a lot of economic and managerial stuff he wasn't able to do before going to bed, but shrugs it off because he thinks Belle can take care of it. And there is a book in their backroom, connected to the commission's tab, which is labeled 'chores,' a book stated to be kept by Belle in Wise's route that implies a lot of the UI stuff we see is actually the gamified form of Belle's bookkeeping. I'm not too familiar with how this changes with Belle as the MC, but I think neither choice leads to a codependent relationship on either end.

What OP means to say is that Wise feels way more like the " running things on the background" character, because that's a Low Key job, and Bell is too energetic to be the Low Key character. Basically, Bell is so energetic and pro-active that she seems more like the "action girl" while Wise is so calm and cautious that he feels more like the "Reliable support" and the one who manages everything.

@@kr3533 I get how it can come off that way, but I think both have the character traits to pull off both roles. Wise is naturally low-key, but he's also more than willing to speak up and take charge whenever his sister needs him for something. I feel like he could easily be the type to push for more customer-facing positions to keep Belle from having to deal with a majority of the headaches the customer service industry inflicts on people. And Belle, while more energetic, is also shown to be very flexible, willing to do virtually any job to help out or get her way (stealing keys, keeping a carefully documented 'chores' notebook, and immediately going into 'rescue' mode when she was trapped in the hollow are examples). If Wise did press her for those jobs, I don't think she would be very fussed taking over the backend stuff.

@@theglitch5386 I never said they can't be the other role, I said one fits better the other rol, but they are experienced enough to handle the other rol as Phaeton without such a big deal, but they still seem better in an specific role.Even their designs scream that Belle is way more colorful and flashy than Wise, which fits for the pro-active go-getter protagonist, and Wise's design used solid colors making he feel more suportive than Bell in any situation(I'm only speakung about colour psychology rather than something in-game confirmed), but they still need to be both capable at the other rol because, Lorewise, THEY are Phaeton, both of them, and most important, in-game, there's the option to choose one or another, so they NEED to be able to switch roles with no problem. It doesn't mean that Belle doesn't look better as the action-girl and Wise as the supportive back-office who makes sure everything runs smoothly. It just means they are adapted to do any rol necessary in their daily life as proxies.

honestly, i'm happy i chose wise. i usually pick male mc's, but first impression, belle looks more interesting. but i ended up with "probably most will choose belle, so might as well experience the least picked just cause" and honestly, he grew on me. i really like how the mc's have actual voice lines and not saved on rare occassions. not sure if this was still true later in the game, but from what i could see, the other sibling talks more. i want to hear more lines from the chosen mc. but still, i actually like wise's calmer tone and his style, while less colorful, admittedly may be something i usually wear lol i do hope they get some drip clothes later in the game. if they won't give it to aether and lumine, then please give wise and belle some cool cosmetics.

Somehow Bell feels more fitting to be the MC and the one who does the action and Wise is more like the one who know everything and has everything under control, that's why I choosed Bell, just to have Wise be the "Knows all" and the one who control everything for Bell XD It feels nice to have a calm person keeping everything under control when she's doing the action. Obvisly it's more of a personal opinion, but objetively speaking Bell is way more expresive and energetic than Wise, while he looks more... "Wise" XD calm and knowledgable than her. Anyway, it's really cool that they are not just "MC prototype no.789", they are their own charactwrs with their own background, both legendary proxies with a lot of reputation and a really big name under their shoulders, really cool tbh.
