Again great video, it's good to see some of the issues that may come about when installing aftermarket parts and how to resolve or make it work. That will be a screamer of a motor, if the compression is where I thonk it is lol. Next time draw an arrow on the piston, just so we can all follow along better. Okay I'm off to watch part 3. if you put a +1 crank in the engine you need to check squish. to check squish take the piston without it connected to the rod and shove it all the way into the cylinder. use a caliper from the spark plug hole to check the depth of the piston. measure 5x and write that number down. should be .6500" or there about. when you assemble the head you will recheck the clearance. with a +1 crank (29mm) you should have around .015" clearance with a stock head gasket. If you run any more than the +1 such as a +1.6, +2, theres even a +2.8mm crank you absolutely have to stack head gaskets and carefully measure piston clearances.

GZR cranks use tiger king rods which are wider at the piston. You have to use the wider bearing (TK-D004) and the modified GZR wrist pin spacers. for the wrist pin keeper use a small pair of needle nose, clamp on edge of the gap, stick the other side into the groove then twist and push the pliers into the open relief in the piston. Hard to explain much easier to show but the go in pretty easy.

Looks like it had a stock 1mm crank and ya went to 1.6mm to 2mm circle if ya had to add extra shims. Ya need a squish gauge! Lol

Dumb question sir. New to gas. How do the 'O' rings go on a zenoah marine exhaust header? I have 2 boats I am finishing and both boats and both come with 2 'O' rings. Sorry about the new guy question. Thanks, Jeff

So you just took out a crankshaft that was balanced to the Piston look at the bottom of the Piston inside how much is ground out of it super high RPM Motor the crankshaft you just put in there is a whole lot heavier it's going to slow it down in revs per second but I have more torque coming out of the corner balanced to that crankshaft you just took out of it measure the weight of both piston the new and the old does the crankshaft you just put in there was set for as the newest stock piston weight at the end it's going to run like a weed eater not like a race motor but you can get an offset keyway and advanced the timing 2 degrees 4 degrees on the flywheel which make it spark sooner or you could double up the barrel gaskets and it would retard the port timing

Hey brother, not sure what u mean exactally. Everything in the crank is lubed by the oil gas mix that the engine runs. U can pack the bearings if u wanted, but the grease would be washed away in about the first 2 min of sunning

I new the stroke was going to change JJ but what did u shim to make it where it would clear where it was hitting?
